I was hyped and more than ready. Fortunately, their concert was just a few blocks away. I don't care that mom doesn't want it. It's not her who's against it anyway, it's little stepdouche.
So I quietly walked down the stairs, successfully walking past my mom without getting noticed. David was nowhere to be seen, too.
I may seem like a big asshole but well, I go whenever I wanna go. I sent her a text, not that she should be worried about me, I just wanna see Firewalk.
Seriously, I waited for over a year to see them and I, fortunately, got tickets. Or just one ticket because no one wants to go with me. Except for Elliott but I wanna rock out, not having someone gluing at my ass.
Of course, I lit a cigarette up on the way. Wish I'd have a joint but never mind.
When I entered the location, it was hella loaded with people. But I got a decent place. Not in the front but in the middle. I never go front, music's too loud and you have tried getting into the mosh pit. But then someone took my attention. No doubt it was her, two rows in front of me. You'd recognize her feather earring at any time.
Should I go up to her or not? That decision was completely thrown overboard when I saw her struggling to find a comfortable spot in the crowd. And it happens to be exactly next to me. "What the fuck, what are you doing here, Price?" - "How about seeing the band, duh? Firewalk freaking rocks. Didn't wanna miss that." And with that being said, we just rocked out to the music. Some people might assume we were dancing together but we were totally not, of course. We don't do that. Like never.
After the concert, we went separate ways again. At least that was what I thought. "Chloe, hold up. Don't you think that tonight was lit as fuck?" I just nodded in response. "Sure, it was Firewalk. But why are you asking me?" She looked away, actually a bit shyly. "Well, I enjoyed it even a little bit more because of your company. We really should hang out more often, you're not as dumb as I thought you'd be." I raised my eyebrow at her. "Well, uh... Thanks, I guess? But yeah, actually I think so too." She smiled at me, took a photo of us and gave me her number.
And then we really went separate ways.
As soon as I was home I checked my social media and saw that Rachel already uploaded our photo. It was saying 'Firewalked with this lil' punk chick 2nite!'. It was actually a great photo. But it feels so surreal that the most popular girl at school thinks I'm chill.
Let's see what that brings in the future.
