11 - The creepy man at the beach.

╣♦╠ —Hmm..?— Yukira's fox ears twitched as she quickly took a glance to one of the beach's sides. They were not alone. There was someone else in there. Even if it was dark the lights from the highway illuminated part of the beach. At the darker part of it, close to the sea and away from the highway's lights, only illuminated by the moonlight there was a dark silhouette.

It was just a person sitting there at the beach, but Yukira's curiosity was always a thing. —Oiiii...—

█▄█ —Yukira we should get out of here! We don't want anyone to see us now!— Said Reiko, annoyed at Yukira for bringing attention of some unknown person on the beach to them

╣♦╠ Reiko sure had to withstand the crazy curiousity of her friend. Curiosity killed the cat, so they said, only that this time the kitty had nothing to do with it at all.

They noticed that the person sitting there was a man around his thirty and something, of black short hair, wolf tail and ears of the same color. He had his eyes closed and he was holding a strange katana, golden and black colored.

—Don't do it! Whatever that happened during the festivities is not worth committing seppuku, oi!— The kitsune quickly jumped to conclusions, as often.

█▄█ —Don't yell you idiot!— Reiko said, trying to put her hand on kitsune's mouth to shut her up before it was too late

╣♦╠ —Hmphh?!— Yukira quickly pushed Reiko away a little, annoyed. —What's wrong with you?! We can't let him kill himself! It'd haunt me during nights!—

—So noisy... Just leave and go to another place.— The man replied with a rather depressing tone as he opened his gray eyes that quickly focused on the girls.

█▄█ —Y-yes! We apologize for bothering you!— Reiko quickly replied before Yukira said anything stupid, and took the kitsune by the hand away from the mysterious man

╣♦╠ —Hey! Baka Reiko! We are not leaving anywhere!— Yukira struggled with annoyance.

—....Wait a moment...— The man slowly got up as he focused on the girls. It seemed that something caught his attention, and it could clearly be the shining gem that the troublemaker kitsune had on her hands.

He rubbed his eyes with his left hand while with the right he was still holding the katana.

█▄█ —Sorry, but we really have to hurry back!— Reiko said, holding hard onto Yukira's hand and pulling her away from the man

╣♦╠ —He told us to wait a moment, at least you could hear what he wants to say, boo!— Yukira puffed her cheeks but allowed Reiko to pull her away for a while, though the man was still slowly walking towards them.

█▄█ —You idiot! We don't know who he is! What if he wants to steal the stone from you?— Reiko whispered so that the man wouldn't hear

╣♦╠ While the man was approaching them, his wolf ears slightly twitched and his eyes slightly widened.

—Why would he? And if that'd be the case we'd just need to kick his butt!— Yukira said as if it'd be something simple.

—So that is the original then, Tsukkin.— The man said from the distance.

█▄█ —He has a SWORD, do you plan to stop him with just bare hands?!— Reiko said, starting to panic as the man was getting closer

╣♦╠ —Uhm... I can use magic, you see?! I trained for it!— Yukira rubbed her nose, all proud in a moment where she should rather start running away and panicking, especially because it seemed the mysterious man clearly identified the relic they were carrying.
