╣♦╠ It sure seemed that the beasts were somewhat vulnerable to Reiko's energy. The heavenly arts were known to be a mix of the wind, pure and defensive ways of the energy. In theory its own perk was that it was effective against the monsters like those. The arrow shot by her 'deleted' the beast's center head and then it fell to the ground, dematerializing like it happened before with the tiger.

—Thanks, thanks, thanks, thousand thanks!— The old man was in panic and just mumbled that as he kept running and half-carrying his wife.

█▄█ Reiko smiled at them briefly before continuing on her way to locate Hikari, as she looked around desperately trying to find a characteristic purple energy somewhere

╣♦╠ The city was in chaos. It seemed to be filled with those beasts and the bypassers running away or trying to defend themselves. Some of them, however normal they could look managed to put a battle with some of the beasts, others used even a spell or two, probably there were hunters already trying to deal with the beasts regardless of how young some of them looked like.

But none of that chaos mattered much for Reiko, she kept getting stressed over the idea of what would have happened in the cinema where Hikari in theory was.

She felt her body warm, but then in a second it totally dropped its temperature, in a weirdle and odd way....

When she looked around, everything stopped.

The creatures were stop, the humans too, the lights and everything looked black and white and Reiko seemed to lose the ability to perceive the energies, at least by their color.

Not even the energy fields were moving at all. Some of the beasts were stop in the middle of the air while pouncing on the preys or attacking.

—That looks interesting.— She heard a voice coming meters away from her, Reiko surely heard it somewhere... But wasn't everything stopped, in theory?

█▄█ —Did... the time just stop?!— Reiko exclaimed in surprise

—Wait... whose voice is that?— Reiko looked around nervously, not understanding what's going on in middle of this chaos

╣♦╠ Turning towards the voice, the first thing that surprised Reiko was a giant energy field that was actually moving, it was the one of that mysterious girl, black colored but with the different sparks and lights around it, shining. Reiko didn't lose the ability to perceive the color, at least, she could clearly see that and the blue haired rabbit girl looking at her with her red eyes.

—Don't mind me. I don't know for how long you'll manage to keep the spell you unconsciously activated. You have a piece of trash to protect, right?—

█▄█ —Y-you again?— Reiko asked in surprise, seeing the rabbit from before

—Piece of trash?— The catgirl asked unsure what did the rabbit girl mean by that

╣♦╠ —Just don't get yourself killed tonight, unlike the heiress of your clan you have a bright future. Let her die if necessary and cover yourself somewhere. —

█▄█ —Huh?! I can't let Hikari-sama die, that's not even an option!— Reiko said, slightly annoyed at how easily the rabbit girl dismissed Hikari's life

« This place really is in chaos though... I hope Yukira is safe... » The catgirl thought, once again worried about her childhood friend

╣♦╠ —Do you really appreciate her life so much? Why is it? — The emotionless rabbit girl commented and walked towards one of the beasts, some kind of human-sized scorpion of three tails. —I love when this happens.— Said quietly and not seemingly paying too much attention to Reiko's possible reply.
