Molly's eyes fluttered. She opened them just to close them again when she felt pain flush through her body. Everything came back to her-the darkness, Savannah, the biting, the blood. Did it all actually happened? Shit. It did.
Molly forced her eyes open once more to face even more darkness. She sighed and sat up slowly. After she waited for the dizyness to pass, she felt where she had been bitten. She could feel two tiny holes along her neck. She ran her finger over them continuously, unable to believe they were real. Ouch. They hurt even more when Molly touched them.
She sighed and decided to find a way out of this place. She began to crawl. She felt a cool and rocky surface under her. She crawled on her hands and knees for what seemed like forever. She was frightened. She had no idea what was before her or where she was headed. But she continued to crawl, becoming tired way too soon. She was about to take a break when she saw a hint of light not far in front of her. Just as soon as it had appeared, it was gone. She gasped with hope and crawled further, heading towards where the light had been. The light slowly began to grow, coming back. But there was much more of it this time, and it didn't leave.
Molly smiled happily- she was leaving and she was okay. Unharmed. Well, for the most part.
She reached the light and stared out into it. She stood up and squealed happily as she ran into the meadow that was outside of where she had been trapped. She ran among the trees and ponds until she was exhausted and fell onto the long and alive grass. She breathed it in. It felt so good to feel alive again. To see life. Life other than darkness.
Molly sat up when she felt the grass prick on her stomach. She then realized she was only in her bra and her pants were unzipped. She cursed under her breath and stood up.
After she had zipped back up her jeans, she walked in the meadow again. She began to grow nervous.
She was out of there. Away from Savannah. But now what? Where was she to go? Home. But where was home? Was she even in Kentucky anymore? She had no idea where to go. She felt tears spring to her eyes when she got distracted by something moving in the trees.
Immediately, Molly burst into a run.
The noises still occurred, slowly sounding closer and closer to Molly. A figure stopped her in her tracks. She was thrown back to the ground.
"Ooomf..." Molly rubbed her head and leaned up on her elbows and had to squint to see who it was that had intruded her path. She gasped loudly and scooted back when she saw it was Savannah. She didn't look happy, either. Her arms were folded and she was clad in a beautiful red dress, which showed cleavage on her chest.
"Trying to run away?" Savannah narrowed her eyes at Molly.
Molly whimpered and scooted back further from Savannah but was stopped by a hard pinch on her foot. Savannah pressed her heel onto Molly's foot, stopping her from moving. Molly cried out and grabbed at the grass. Panting, she glared up at Savannah.
"What. Do. You. Want," She said through clenched teeth.
Savannah laughed, only making Molly even more frustrated and a bit irritated. In the blink of an eye, Molly found herself in Savannah's arm. Savannah was running at an inhuman pace, passing through the meadow at a rediculously fast speed. Molly found it hard to breath going this fast through the forest. She would have fought with Savannah, but she was having such a hard time breathing, it would be useless.
She was suddenly thrown to the ground and found herself gasping for air. Savannah sighed and folded her arms once more, noticably angry and irritated.
Molly grew furious and flung herself at Savannah with a grunt and screamed at her. "You have no right to keep me captive here! I don't know you and you don't know me! If you really are a vampire, is my blood not enough? You took a whole lot of it, what else could you possibly want?"
She screamed and kicked wildly against Savannah. But the vampire stood there and held a hand on Molly's right hip, unaffected by her kicking and punching. But she wasn't giving up.
Finally, Savannah roared, "That's enough!"
The sudden rage scarred Molly and she fell to the ground once more and wiped tears from her eyes.
Savannah sighed. "I can't let you leave."
Molly replied angrily, "And why is that?"
Savannah leaned down, pressing her lips against Molly's ear. Being as mad as she was, Molly had to force herself not to strangle the demon. But she soon forgot about hurting Savannah when she shivered as Savannah whispered into her ear, "Because I have marked you as mine."
