Molly ended up having a nice morning. She was out of her hospital room and was able to do anything now. She was fully recovered and okay!
She hung out with Penny and Savannah. Penny had a friend over named Brittany who had tried to bite into Molly as soon as she had shown up at the castle. She didn't make her fangs into her skin, though. Savannah took care of her quick. She didn't hurt the girl like Molly was afraid of, but once she talked to her, they all were able to hang out and have a good time.
It was now around six and Molly was watching some show she had never heard of when someone knocked on her door.
"Come in," she told whoever was on the other side.
It was Savannah. She looked nervous and paler than before. She also had faded mascara marks down her eyes, proving she had been crying.
"Can...can you come with...with me?"
"Come with you where?" Savannah was making Molly nervous.
"Just to...just come."
Molly trusted her and followed her across the hall. They walked into her parents' room. The doors were wide open and her parents were standing side by side. Catherine had her face buried in her hands, while Nicholas looked as if he was trying to keep a straight face and not break down.
"What is going on?" Molly demanded as soon as she saw the sight.
Catherine lifted her head from her hands and her face was blochy and red and tear-stained. Her eyes were a dark and eery blue- a color Molly had never seen on her.
"My husband has...has news for you. I...I can't be here...here for it. I'm sorry." She pushed past Molly and Savannah and quickly darted down the stairs.
"Dammit!" Nicholas banged his fist against the wall, denting it.
Molly was going insane inside. What the hell was going on?
"Please just tell her, father," Savannah said quietly.
He sighed. "Why don't you?"
She narrowed her eyes at him and gritted her teeth. "Because it was not my idea. I didn't want this to happen. It was all you. And you know how broken she will be. I'm not telling her."
"Someone just fucking tell me!" Molly shouted. She couldn't help it, she had to know. Now.
Nicholas hesitated, keeping his eyes on the ground before walking towards Molly. He finally looked up to face her.
"I...I have brainwashed your family...along with everyone else that ever knew you existed."
