Red Roses

Chapter 40- Crash

"You may now kiss the bride."

Molly's heart stopped. She turned to face Savannah.

They both leaned in simultaneously and planted their lips on each others.

The people in the pews went crazy. Red rose petals fell from the ceiling by guards and were thrown everywhere. Everyone cheered and shouted.

Molly did it! She hadn't messed up once throughout the wedding. And now Savannah was officially hers. All hers.

Molly pecked her lips once more before her attention was averted to the door of the church that suddenly slammed open roughly.

Everyone gasped and faced the door.

Liam and Vincent...?

The two were standing side by side. They didn't look like happy campers, either.

Liam and Vincent.

What were they doing here?

Vincent began to walk in the church. "We have come here for revenge."

Had he read Molly's mind or was he just announcing this?

Suddenly there was a loud rambling from outside the church. The windows shattered as things jumped right through them.

Things?

Little midgets, several small dragons, and demons.

What the hell?

They all looked furious. They held spears and swords. Everyone at the wedding went into war-mode.

Then it happened. The "battle" had begun. Over what though?

Molly turned to Savannah as hell broke loose in the church.

"They have come for revenge over me killing James!" She had to scream so that Molly could hear her. It was as if Molly's face explained how confused she was.

She guessed that would make sense, but what did all these other creatures have to do with anything?

Savannah grabbed her arm. "Come on. We need to get out of here."

Molly was dragged through the middle of the battle zone. She almost lost her arm!

Once the door was in view, she felt herself speed up.

Right when they had reached it though, Liam jumped right in front of them, causing them to fall back. Molly caught them both before they fell all the way down.

"Going somewhere?" He asked as he intimidately walked towards them.

"Uhh...." Molly didn't know what to do or say, and after glancing at Savannah, she realized that she didn't either.

He pulled out a stake from his jacket. Molly gasped. She watched as Savannah stepped up to Liam.

She threw a punch at him, but he only took her fist and twisted it, causing her to yelp.

Molly wanted to do something, but what?

She could tell Savannah was acting more hurt than she really was. She still suddenly took both Liam and Molly by surprise. She reached across and had the stake in her hands in no time. She held the tip of it to Liam's chest.

"I suggest you leave now."

He put his hands up in surrender but let out a laugh.

Molly glanced around them. Bodies were everywhere. She saw William sprawled out on the floor.

No!

She wanted to help him, but how could she? She suddenly thought of something and bolted towards him.

She was a Blue Blood. How could she have been so ignorant?! She could save everyone in the family.

She kneeled next to his body. There was a huge gap in his side.

She quickly pushed her fangs into his neck. His eyes were closed and he laid there lifeless. She bit him as gently as she could and soon she felt him begin to heave.

She tore her fangs from his neck.

He was looking at her and gasping.

"Are you alright?!"

He stared at her for a few before a grin slowly formed on his face. "Thanks, vampire."
