Molly was clinging to the door when she recognized where they were. They were in Lexington!

He pulled up at a shop for Molly to get out. She paid him then left the cab.

She was left outside of the grocery store, which she used to walk to from her house. She beamed and began to jog home with a grin painted on her face.

It was now three thirty. She got into her neighborhood and felt an adrenaline rush. Her house was two minutes away.

She had to stop once she reached her block. She was breathing hard. She told herself she could do it.

She turned the corner and could see her house.

There was her dad. He was outside mowing.

She walked towards him. She walked straight on the sidewalk and stopped when she had a good view of him.

She stood there and stared. Her heart was pounding and her palms were damp.

He finally turned and saw her out of the corner of his eye. He paused and looked at her. Oh gosh.

He flashed a small smile and focused back on the lawn.

Her mom appeared at the front door. "Are you grilling for dinner tonight, David?"

He stopped the mower and looked back at her. "Sure."

She nodded and was about to walk back in when she glanced at Molly.

Molly licked her lips and stared at her mother.

"May I help you, dear?"

Molly tried not to cry. They really didn't know who she was. "Mom..."

Her mother tilted her head and walked towards Molly.

She glanced at her father, who was watching them with a confused look on his face.

"What did you say, dear?" Her mother called everyone 'dear'.

"I'm..." Molly's heart pounded and she had to pause to take a breath. "I'm your daughter."

Her mother looked taken aback. She looked Molly up and down. "Where is your home, dear?"

Molly pointed to her house. "There."

Her mother glanced back at the house and her father began walking their ways.

"You're not..." Her mother began but trailed off.

"What?" Her father asked.

Her mom laid a hand on his shoulder.

"This girl claims we are her parents."

"But you are!"Molly insisted.

Her father chuckled. "That cannot be. We have one son. That is it. Now please move along."

"No! You're my parents! You were brainwashed! I'm seventeen and my name is Molly!"

Her mother looked frightened while her father looked furious.

"Look, you need to go. This isn't funny anymore...Molly. Joke's over." Her father scolded her.

"But it isn't a damn joke!" Molly argued.

"Look, Missy. You leave right now or I'm calling the cops."

Tears sprang to her eyes. "But-"

She was interrupted by the sound of a car behind her. She gasped when William stepped out.

"I'm sorry," he said to Molly's parents. "I'll take her home."

He nodded to the car- motioning Molly to get inside.

This was it. She had to go with him. She would have argued, but it was no use. Her family was gone.

She sighed and stepped into the passenger seat.

William nodded to her parents respectively and climbed into the drivers seat.

Molly took one last look at her parents before William started the engine and reared them off.
