Red Roses

Chapter 4- Discoveries

Molly stared at Savannah. "Red Rose Coven?" She echoed.

Savannah nodded. "It's a group of us vampires. And my grandparents were the founders of it. I have a brother and two sisters. So there are three princesses and one prince and my parents that run the coven."

Molly smiled slightly. "So you're royalty?"

Savannah smirked and nodded.

Molly chuckled and looked Savannah over. She did look like royalty. It wasn't surprising to Molly at all that she was. Especially while Savannah was dressed in such clothing. A frown began to form on Molly's lips when she thought about her family and friends. She couldn't just leave them. She wasn't about to let them all be brainwashed either.

"What about my family, Savannah?"

Savannah sighed. "I told you my father would work it out."

Molly grew angry. "They will not be brainwashed!"

Savannah grabbed Molly's hand and Molly felt a flush of shock go through her. "I want to show you something," Savannah remarked as she began pulling Molly behind her.

Savannah led her outside and they walked until Savannah found a spot in the middle of the forest she was content with. She lightly pushed Molly away and took a step back, just as she took a deep breath. Molly gasped and almost fell back in shock as colorful swirls danced around Savannah. They circled her body and Molly could barley catch a sight of Savannah with the streaks of color being in the way. The colors suddenly floated up to the sky and disappeared, leaving Molly alone with a beautiful creature in front of her.

Savannah now had wings. Gorgeous, big, grey wings. She showed them off by flapping them for Molly. Molly smiled cheerily and walked closer to her, daring to touch the wings. She lightly scraped the palm of her hand along the soft feathers. She gasped lightly and withdrew her hand.

"They're beautiful," Molly murmured.

Savannah's cheeks grew pink. "Thanks."

Molly nodded a welcome and stepped back to admire the wings some more. Savannah smirked and walked over to Molly and picked her up. Molly did nothing to try to escape this time. She slowly felt herself being lifted as Savannah began to fly. Molly glanced down and realized how far up high they were. She gasped and clung tightly onto Savannah.

"It's okay," Savannah whispered, "I got you."

Molly immediately felt safe. She snuggled into Savannah's chest. She began to question herself. This woman had bitten her and wanted Molly to go live with her and not see her family or friends ever again. What the hell was going on?

Savannah flew Molly around a bit more before making a soft landing back onto the earth. Molly jumped from Savannah's arms and smiled. She watched as she flapped her arms around and the wings folded into her back.

Savannah then led Molly back into the cave. They spent the rest of the day together; enjoying each others company and talking. No questions or confusion. They just enjoyed their time. When it grew extremely dark out, Molly yawned and noticed how tired she was. She and Savannah curled up. Molly wondered and worried about her friends and family. But before she knew it, she had fallen into a sleep while feeling safe in Savannah's arms.
