"Molly?"

She slowly opened her eyes just to squeeze them shut again. Ouch. She was getting sick of waking up with a raging headache.

"Molly."

She opened her eyes more carefully this time.

She found James leaning over her.

She grumbled and pushed on his chest, hoping to shove him off of her. But he didn't budge. He smirked at her attempts and leaned closer to her face.

"I can see why Savannah likes you. You are beautiful."

She was disgusted. "What do you want from me?"

He sighed and leaned back, sitting next to her. Molly was still in the cage, but he had unlocked it and crawled in with her. Gross...

"Well, I guess you deserve an explanation."

Her stomach grumbled. "And some food..." She mumbled.

He chuckled and there was suddenly a plate of turkey and gravy aong with warm rolls. He handed the plate to her. She muttered a thanks and took it and waited for him to explain.

"We are having a war tomorrow. Between a family that my family has always been an enemy of. They are going to attack and they think we don't know. But we have prepared ourselves. They don't expect us to be prepared."

Molly took a bite of the turkey. "Well that's great and all, but what does this have to do with me?"

"You, my dear," he tapped her chest, "will help us win."

"I'm not about to fight in a war, James."

Was he setting her up for death? She would be a goner as a human in a vampire war in no time.

"You don't understand, do you?"

Molly shook her head slowly, feeling like she was expected to know.

James signed and ran a hand through his hair, making Molly nervous. "You are something we call a Blue Blood."

"A what?" Molly asked as she finished her warm roll.

"A Blue Blood. That is a mortal that has a special type of blood."

Molly was about to question him, but he continued.

"Your blood can heal any vampire." He paused for her to take this in.

Molly could feel her eyes grow wide. "W...what?"

He chuckled. "Yup. And you're going to help us in our war by your blood. You will heal all our injured fighters."

She gaped at this. "How can I heal them?"

"One bite and taste of your blood and their injuries are healed in seconds."

Molly almost choked on the turkey. "So the injured ones are going to be coming to be constantly and shoving their fangs into my skin?!"

James nodded. "Its not as bad as it seems."

Molly was pissed. She wasn't in this war. This was their fight, not hers. And she wasn't about to give away her blood.

"I won't do it," Molly protested sternly.

James laughed. "You got no choice, sweetheart."

He crawled out of the cage and locked it up. He flashed Molly a smile before leaving the room.

Molly was furious. They can't do this to her. And why didn't Savannah mention Molly's special blood? Where the hell was Savannah? Did she know that James had taken her?

Molly sighed and tugged on the chain bordely. She was stuck in her until the war begun. She would just have to wait and try her best to escape when she had the chance. By the look of things now, though, there was no escape.
