Molly yawned and opened her eyes. She gasped when she saw the area that surrounded her. This wasn't her room. It took her a moment to realize she was no longer in her tiny house in Kentucky, but a mansion in what state she had no idea of.
She glanced at the clock in her new room. It was 10. She yawned again and got out of bed and was going through her clothes when she heard a knock at her door.
"Uhh... Come in?" Molly said loud enough for someone on the other side to hear her.
Savannah entered the room but Molly was shocked to see her in something other than a dress. She was wearing tight dark jeans and a somewhat fancy orange shirt. She wasn't wearing heels either. She actually wasn't wearing any shoes.
Savannah stood in front of Molly and after a moment of silence glanced down at the floor. "I am so, so sorry," she said either to the floor or to Molly.
"It's alright, really. You can't blame anyone. I am a human, Savannah," Molly replied.
It really wasn't anyone's fault. She didn't belong here. She was human- vampires' main source of food.
Savannah sighed and finally looked right at her. "I could have done something to stop him. But I didn't."
Molly smiled. "Yes you did, you got him off of me," she convinced Savannah.
Savannah shook her head. "But not fast enough," she said before reaching up to inspect Molly's marks. Savannah pushed her hair back so she could get a good look.
"How's it look?" Molly asked her.
Savannah shrugged. "Not too bad," then she chuckled and pulled Molly's hair back around. "Not as bad as my bite."
Molly smiled.
"Would you like to stop by your house and pick up some of your things?" Savannah asked her.
Molly could feel her face light up. "Could we?"
Molly would love that. As lovely as the clothes and things here were, she missed her belongings at home.
Savannah nodded, "You need to get changed then."
Molly searched through the drawers and found ripped jeans and a blue tank top and black flip flops. She had no idea what the weather was like, but she dressed like Savannah to be safe.
They walked out of her room and stopped by Savannah's to grab her some shoes. On their way down the stairs, Molly saw the bleach haired boy. What was his name? Alex? No...William! He was sitting on the stairs and was talking to...himself?
Savannah tapped his shoulder. He looked back up at them and Molly saw the phone he was holding next to his ear. So he wasn't talking to himself. Molly almost sighed of relief- this whole situation was crazy enough without people having conversations with themselves.
Savannah motioned for him to move out of their way and he scooted to the side. He smiled and glanced at Molly.
"Hi, human."
She would have been offended if he hadn't had said it so jokingly and didn't have that silly grin on his face.
"Hello, vampire," Molly teased back.
He laughed and looked to Savannah. "I approve of your mate."
She giggled and rolled her eyes before sliding Molly's hand in hers and leading her down the rest of the stairs. They stepped out of the mansion and into a garage-looking area. It was filled with nice and expensive cars. Molly gaped at the cars as Savannah led Molly to a black mustang. She suddenly had keys in her hands and unlocked the car. Molly climbed into the passenger seat.
