It was now time for Molly to loose all color from her face. How could she have been so clueless?! She now knew what was going on.
"Molly..."
Molly blushed at the sound of Savannah's voice. Here it goes.
Savannah took hold of Molly's hand with her free hand.
"Molly. I love you so much. More than you will ever know. You-"
She was interupted by heavy rain falling from the clouds.
The two of them stared up into the sky. Molly then returned her focus back to her girlfriend kneeled before her. They both were already soaked.
"We've been through so much and I have chased you for so long. We belong together. I hope you feel the same."
Molly nodded quickly. "I do. I do, Savannah."
Savannah smiled and opened the tiny box, facing it Molly's direction. It held a silver ring. There was a lovely silver diamond engraved on the band.
"Will you marry me, Molly?"
Molly beamed. "Yes, yes, yes!"
Savannah smiled happily and removed the ring from the box, pushing it onto Molly's finger. Once Savannah had stood up, Molly jumped on her and wrapped her arms around her tightly.
She heard Savannah laugh and felt her hugging Molly back just as tight.
Their lips finally found each other and pressed against each other. They stood there, holding each other close. Molly had always dreamed of a romantic kiss in the pouring rain.
