Molly had her head against the cool window of the car, crying. She was going to try to play it cool for Savannah's sake, but had failed miserably. It was so hard to say goodbye to everything- especially when you had no idea when you would be returning.

"I'm so sorry, Molly. I wish we could be together without having to do this. It isn't fair to you," Savannah said.

It wasn't fair. Why didn't Savannah have to do this? It could have been her ripped from everything and forced to live with Molly's family of humans. If Molly didn't feel anything with Savannah, she wouldn't have let all of this slip away so easily from her. She would have fought harder. But she loved Savannah. A lot. Even if she was the reason that everything was being taken from her.

Savannah suddenly sighed. "We need to stop somewhere before we go home. I need to pick Penny up from soccer practice," she said.

They were soon pulling into a school and pulled up to the soccer field. They waited a few minutes before Penny was running up to them with a big smile painted on her face. She hopped in the back.

"That was an amazing practice!" She exclaimed.

Savannah chuckled. "What was so amazing about it?"

Penny hopped in her seat as Savannah started the engine.

"I did terrific! I ran to the net faster than anyone and made a goal!" She told them.

"You need to make sure to not go too fast, Penny," Savannah warned.

Penny frowned and let out a sigh. "I know, I know."

They all got out of the car once back at the mansion and Molly had to have Savannah lead her to her room- she didn't think she would ever learn where anything was in this place.

Once in her room, Molly emptied all her belongings and organized them in the cabnets and such. She felt a little more at home with her things.

Since Molly had nothing to do now, she decided to roam the mansion.

She walked out of her room and took a left. She continued down a long hallway then stopped at a pair of double doors. She stood outside of them and wondered what was inside. A bedroom? Who's? She shrugged to herself and took the winding staircase downstairs.

She entered the huge and mainly empty room that she had seen Savannah and her father in while she was in the cave.

One of the servants came up to her, "Do you need anything, Miss?"the little boy asked.

Molly shook her head. "No, thank you."

He smiled and stared at her for a moment before doing a small bow and walking off.

Molly began to explore some more. She walked to the edge of the room and found a few doors. She wanted to see what was behind each, but was afraid of disturbing anyone. The door next to the one she was inspecting suddenly opened. A guard walked out and held the door open while Lucy walked out. Oh, great.

Molly was pretending to look elsewhere when she heard Lucy approaching her.

"What are you doing?" Lucy asked her, coming to a stop once she had reached Molly.

Molly turned to face her as Lucy crossed her arms. "Just... Just looking around," Molly nodded and walked past Lucy. But before she could pass her, Lucy shouldered her and Molly was pushed back.

"Listen to me, and listen good," Lucy said, inches away from Molly's face. "You are a human. In a mansion full of vampires. And this mansion is our home." Lucy gave a tap on Molly's chest. "Not yours. So don't go sticking your nasty little mortal fingers on everything. No one wants you here except for Savannah."

Molly felt tears threaten to fall. "I understand," she choked out.

Lucy looked her up and down. "Good."

Molly thought she was finished and began to walk off when the vampire grabbed Molly's chin, pulling her so her nose was touching Lucy's.

"I better not find you standing outside of my room again. And I better not find you sticking your nose into our things." Lucy toned her voice down to a whisper, "Even if you are dating my sister, I would have no problem with destroying you in seconds." Lucy gave a chuckle. "Actually, I would quite enjoy killing you. So watch what you do, human."

She flashed Molly her sharp and ejected fangs before pushing Molly away roughly and stomping past her.

Molly stood there frozen. She stared ahead of her, not looking back at Lucy.  She didn't know how long she had been standing there, seeming paralized, when she saw Savannah approaching her out of the corner of her eye.

She placed a hand on Molly's shoulder,  causing her to jump. "Are you alright?" Savannah asked, looking her over with nervous golden eyes.

"I-"

"Dear, you're shaking. What happened?"

Molly raised her hands to look at them. She sure was shaking. She was terrified.

"I... I don't know why I'm shaking," Molly fibbed. "I was just exploring your home."

Savannah hesitated before flashing a relieved smile. "Well? Do you like what you've seen?"

Molly nodded. "It's gorgeous."

Savannah held Molly's elbow and led her across the room. "It would be an honor to tour you around the rest of my home," she said with a giggle.

Molly laughed. "It would be an honor to have you as my tour guide."

She pushed Lucy out of her mind and followed Savannah down a flight of stairs.
