I can't believe those bulky-ass bananas were the ones who jumped me last night! As soon as the Topazes noticed the camera, they ran off, not even bothering to untie me. As soon as the coast was clear, the Crystal Gems came out from behind the trash can and dragged Bismuth's body around to the front of the building. Once they were at the front, that was when they left Bismuth's body in the corner, and Lapis came out with the Jaspers and so on.
The recording was somewhat silent after I was taken in the Jasper's car. The recording was paused by Sadie, and she sighed, putting her index finger and thumb on her forehead as she closed her eyes. Lapis was quiet, and I turned around to see if she was okay. The shadow of her bangs covered her eyes, but from the way her bottom lip was farther out than her top lip, I could tell her teeth were gritted and she was mad as hell.
She then began to storm out of the room as Sadie and I watched in fear. "L-Lapis, what're you doing?" I asked in a trembling voice, still shaken from Bismuth's death scene. "They're going to pay." Lapis deadpanned as she stopped at the doorway, back turned to us. "The Crystal Gems? O-or the Topazes?" Sadie asked. "All of them." the angry bluenette stated, walking out of the room, and after about 10 seconds, we could hear the jingle of the front door open and slam closed.
Sadie and I looked at each other in concern for a moment. I began to run after her, but halted when Sadie pulled me back by my wrist. "Wait! I wouldn't go after her if I were you..." the pale blonde said, loosening her grip a little. I gave her a questioning look, and yanked out of her grip. "I have to - what will she do if I don't?" I asked.
"When Lapis is mad...there's no changing her mind whatsoever. You can try to stop her, but her willpower is infinite compared to others...." Sadie muttered, looking a little scared at the thought. My firm expression softened, and I sat in a spinny chair next to Sadie. It was quiet in the room for a while, and Sadie was re-watching the recordings.
"Wait a minute..." Sadie all of a sudden muttered. "What is it?" I asked, wheeling over to her, looking at the screen with her. "Remember how there were a few other bodies next to Bismuth laying around?" she asked in a confused tone. The realization then hit me - who the hell killed them?!
We stared at each other a long time in confusion and fear. "D-do you have the recording for that?" I asked. She then rolled over to the screen, switched cameras, and fast forwarded to later in the night. She then stopped when two more figures were at the front, but they looked a little different from the Topazes.
