Lapis marched up to us, and I quickly climbed back to my feet. "What did I say about fights going on here? We don't have time to be dicking around! Did either of you finish your missions yet?" Lapis shouts in a frighteningly angry tone. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw Jasper shaking her head in shame, not daring to make eye contact with the bluenette. Lapis then looks over at me, and I shake my head slowly as well, looking at the ground.
She then did exactly what I was afraid of. The blue-haired girl reached her hand into her leather jacket, swiftly pulling out a pocketknife and flicking it open. She then held it up to Jasper's neck, and Jasper backed up all the way until she hit the wall behind her. "You should especially know better, Jasper. You've been here longer and I hope you didn't forget about our little arrangement..." I could see a drop of sweat trickle down the side of Jasper's face as she violently shook her head.
"Good...now I'm not letting you live to screw around and have little push-fights with your friends, now get back to work. Now." Lapis states coldly, pulling the knife away from the buff girl's neck. The bluenette then looked over at me, and I swear I felt my stomach drop. She strutted over to me, and I backed up into the wall as well, trying to get as far away from that knife as possible. As she was lifting the knife, the gleam shined in my eyes and for some reason I panicked, and jerked away, pushing Lapis out of the way.
"NO! PLEA-aAaAhH!!!" I dashed farther away from the gang leader, but she caught up to me and grabbed the back of the collar of my leather jacket. She yanked me back and shoved into the wall once more. This time, she looked angrier than ever, and she held the knife up to my neck, and I could feel the icy cold blade pressing against my soft skin. I closed my eyes tightly, and I still felt the blood from my nose trickle down my face. "WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE FOR-" Lapis suddenly pauses. I wait a few seconds, but nothing happens. I still felt the knife pressing on my neck, but not as hard anymore.
I slowly open my eyes, and I see her softened expression, and I notice that she's staring at the blood running down from my nostrils. The bluenette pulls away, and shakily puts the knife back into her leather jacket. She looks me in the eyes, and I felt like I could get lost in those beautiful blue pools for days. But, nothing lasts forever, and she eventually backs away, allowing me to step away from against the wall. "G-get that cleaned up...a-and don't let this happen again...got it?" I quickly nod, and she speed-walks out of the room, and slams the door behind her.
Silence fills the room, and I rubbed my sweaty palms on my jeans.
"Whoa..." Jasper mumbles, her amber eyes wide.
A tall, buff girl walks up to me and hands me a tissue. She seemed to resemble that one short girl that was part of the Crystal Gems gang. I thank her, and hold it up to my nose, and I walk to the area where the Bismuths were building tools and weapons and whatnot.
After gathering the screws I needed from them, I left the room without a word.
....
What was up with her? I ask myself, as I continue working on the drone. Did I freak her out? Did she feel bad for me? Was there something on my face - well, besides the blood? I got up to use the bathroom, and as soon as I was finished washing my hands, I looked in the mirror. I saw a girl with spiky messed up blonde hair, and a big-ass bruise on her nose. Oh, my glasses were broken, too. Where am I gonna get new ones, now? I can't see shit without them... I thought, walking out of the bathroom.
I also realized that I needed new clothes, because there was blood all over my shirt and pants. It literally looked like I chainsaw-massacred over 20 people. Just then, I heard a knock at the door, and I expected it to be Jasper, wanting to punch my face in again, but it wasn't. It was one of the Pearls from yesterday. "Here are some more things that you might need for your...high-maintenance," she explained, looking me up and down. "T-thanks..." I stutter, and with that, she walked away without another word. I close the door, and placed the bag on the bed.
I opened it, and inside I saw - hey what do you know? - More clothes. I sighed in relief and quickly changed into the new ones. I noticed that there were a couple more things left over in the bag. I picked up a cool looking green-tinted visor, and a green and black pocketknife. Wait - how did they get my prescription? Did they literally take my glasses while I was unconscious and study them? To be honest, I didn't really wanna know, and just dismissed the thought. I put them on, and my vision was perfect again - and everything was green.
I put the knife in the pocket of my leather jacket, and I looked at myself in the mirror once more with the visor on. Not gonna lie...It looked awesome! I looked like one of those bad-ass hackers from the movies, but like gang-style......ok I dunno what that's supposed to look like but they looked pretty cool.
Wait, I can't get distracted! I need to get this goddamn drone done by the end of the freakin' week! I shouted in my mind, so I sat back down, and continued to work on the drone - until I fell asleep on the desk.
