Chapter 2

Percy's PoV

Let me say one thing and that is that, you guys deserve to know how I ended up being the guardian of the hunt. And how Artemis has to take care of me and how I have to have therapy by Dionysus and Apollo. So here how it went and I'm gonna skip the torture part because it's too long and too gruesome but then somehow Tartarus and Gaia changed their mind and had me rescue Apollo and Artemis to tell the rest of the gods that thankfully I'm alive. Be patient.

****************Flashback****************

I was thrown onto the feet of Apollo, he looked at me with pity. I shakily brought out riptide and uncapped it. I slashed in an arc breaking Apollo's chains in one go. I ran towards Artemis who was under the sky but collapsed from pain. My legs were still a bit broken.
"Let me take the weight," I said to Artemis
"No! Go from here Perseus," she says sadly
"I can't, even if I don't take the weight I'll have to stay here, it won't make a difference It'll only be torture for me," I said, sliding in next to Artemis and putting my hands up. I took the weight but still Artemis didn't go. She glared at me.
"Go!" I shouted
"No!" She replied, she was one stubborn goddess.
"I heard that you know," she said grumpily
"Apollo tell her! Drag her out if needed to! Do anything," I said to Apollo, he nodded
"Artemis come on, if we go then we can alert the rest of the gods and then we can come back a rescue him," Apollo reasoned
"No! You go and I'll stay here! I can't let him take all of it! He'll die he's in such a weakened state," Artemis said
"You do know I'm here?" I said
"Yes we do!" They said together annoyed
"Come on!" Apollo said trying to pull Artemis but it was pointless as he had hardly any strength left.
"Come here Apollo," I beckoned him over and he trudged over, I pulled my hands away from the sky and the full weight went onto Artemis
"Hmph!" She groaned
"Sorry," I said sheepishly and she just nodded as in to get on with it.

I grabbed Apollo's hands and closed my eyes and focused on giving my strength to him. He took more than half of my strength as I collapsed onto the ground. He made some nectar and ambrosia to appear. I gobbled it down and went back under the sky. I looked at Apollo and motioned with my eyes that I'll distract her and you pull her and flash out of here.
"Artemis look at me," I said huskily, she turned her head and looked at me.
"What Perseus?" She asked curiously
"I'm gonna give you some of my strength ok?" I asked
"No way! You'll be so tired!" She argued
"Apollo will feed me some ambrosia and nectar won't you?" I asked Apollo
"Yes I will," he replied smirking
"Give me your hand," I said, I put my hand out and she grasped it. I focused on pulling her strength away so Apollo could pull her out and then I would give her back ten times as more strength when she was not under the sky. It would hurt me a lot.
"NOW!" I shouted, Apollo tugged on Artemis outstretched hand that was in mine. I felt the sky come onto me, I buckled onto my knees.
"G-Go!" I croaked
"NO! PERCY! WAIT!" Artemis screamed, hurt, awe and worry written all over her face as she was flashed away by Apollo.

The doors opened and in walked Kronos, Tartarus, Gaia and Annabeth. They were all laughing at something Annabeth had said.
"There's our hero!" Gaia mocked
"Annabeth how could you of loved him?" Kronos asked
"I don't know?" She said scrunching her nose up in confusion and then she went into really weird trance like she was being controlled.
"You look so cute when you do that!" Luke said from behind Kronos as he walked through the doors and Annabeth blushed. Kronos had found a new body and bought Luke back to life. He was trying to get as much plans out from them by dating Annabeth. We used to be cell mates, more like cave mates. He was never a traitor and he was trying to help me get out of here.
"Luke!" Annabeth shouted a bit flustered
"Aw they're so cute," Gaia said cutely
"So what are you going to do to me then?" I asked angrily
"Bring Atlas!" Kronos shouted
And in walked in Atlas, he had dark circles under his eyes and was chained and had two Cyclopes standing guard next to him.
"What's he doing here?" I asked in a husky voice and Annabeth shivered, deep down I knew she still loved me but my love for her was long gone, Kronos looked at me like I was mad.
"He was trying to bring his daughter Zöe back to life!" Gaia said sounding utterly disgusted
"I killed her! And she loved me! I'm a horrible father!" Atlas screamed tears pouring down his face.
