After Terris had left with Gabrielle, I had bee-lined towards the clams, eager to take a nap. Even after flying, I was still dead exhausted. Honestly, I didn't care if I was sharing the clam with anybody; I was too tired to deal with such trivial matters. "Hey Alistair?" Came a soft voice by my side. Grunting, I rolled over to see a familiar pair of violet eyes, as well as an equally familiar black haired girl with a braid. "Wake up." It was Kia, looking stunning as always. I held back a scowl, thinking about how Ashton Reeves managed to kiss her before I did. I shouldn't have been thinking that, but I couldn't help but be jealous of their relationship. Wait. Why was I thinking of him again? She poked my side with a frown on her face. "I don't want to drag you by your feet all the way to the dining hall, you big fat slug."

"I don't want to." I grumbled, grabbing her braid and yanking her down into my arms. She yelped and tumbled down, her face only centimeters away from mine. I smirked, wrapping my arms around her like a vice. "That's what you get for calling me a big fat slug." I whispered in a low voice.

She glared at me, ruby red lips pursed. "Seriously? I don't want to have to tickle you." I still shook my head stubbornly, tightening my grip on her body. "I could get Terris to join the attack as well..." She trailed off, and I reluctantly let her go. Rolling off, she hopped to her feet, bouncing on the balls of her heels. "Well? Are you coming or not?"

Groaning, I sat up, slowly rising to my feet. "I'm coming, I'm coming... " Kia snorted, crossing her arms impatiently. "What? I'm sure Celeste takes a lot longer to prepare." She scoffed, a small smile breaking across her face.

Kia did end up dragging me to the dining hall, although not by the feet, fortunately for me. Terris had already arrived, and Celeste was late as usual. Kia waved. "Hey Terris! Sorry we got slightly held back, Alice wouldn't get up." She sighed dramatically. "He pulled me down with him, and I legit had to threaten him with a tickle attack."

Terris wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. "Were you two too busy flirting again? Because I'm not entirely convinced you were held back just because Alice wouldn't get up." Kia flushed a bright red, denying the fact that we did anything. "Flirting aside, have you two seen Celeste?"

I shook my head. "Nah, she takes ages- oh, there she is." Celeste waddled in wearing her leg hugging dress, whilst Terris rolled her eyes. If I were a girl, I wouldn't wear a dress like that- I preferred being able to move my legs. "Hey Celeste!" I shouted slightly reluctantly. "We're over here!"

Kia snorted. "Here I was, hoping that we could hide from the pink lady instead. Seems like people don't get what they want all the time." I laughed as she made an irritated face which still managed to look cute. "Oh, here comes the nuisance in pink." This time, Terris joined in the mockery, laughing at Celeste trying hard to walk faster in the dress.

"Hey guys!" Celeste chirped happily. "This place is so cool!"

Kia's hands fisted in annoyance. "Pity we're in one of the most tightly secured places here. If we weren't, I would have slapped her, or punched her, or stabbed her... Luckily for her, I'm not Terris." She snuck a glance to her side, noticing that Terris was gone. "Where is Terris anyway?" She stood on her tiptoes, struggling to find the taller girl.

"Oh, she's talking to Gabrielle." Me being a lot taller than she was, I managed to spot Terris with ease. My stomach let out a loud grumble of hunger, and I winced with embarrassment. "We should get a seat." The hall started filling in with water dragons in both dragon and human form, and I gently grabbed her wrist before pulling her to two empty seats. Her skin was soft and cold to the touch, my own skin burning in comparison. "So, uh... " I began awkwardly, attempting to strike up a conversation. I pulled out a chair for her, waiting for her to sit. I had a brief flashback to the time we had dinner with father.
