"Terris, go get Celeste if she isn't already at the Tower.  I-I can manage Alistair." I stumbled slightly, picking up Alistair's unmoving body with my mind.  It- or he?-  hovered in mid-air, a drop of blood dripping down his face and landing on the floor with a soft plop.  I shot it a glare, attempting to glare it into stopping.

Terris stared at me with a concerned expression.  "Are you sure? You don't look too great."

"I'm fine." I snapped peevishly.  Terris gave me an odd look before running off. She muttered something under her breath, whether it was a healing spell or a prayer I don't know. Glancing around me, I began carrying Alistair's still body up the stairs, still trying to control his jerky movements.

Kia? What's wrong? Gavin's urgent voice barged into my mind.

I scowled to myself, frightening a few maids.  I'll fill you in later.  Rally all the dragons.  We're leaving.  There was stunned silence on the other side, and I took that chance to speed up, running up the stairs. My small frame struggled to carry his bulky, bleeding body, so closing my eyes, I remembered how I had used my telekinetic abilities to lift the orb and sceptre. When I opened them, Alistair was successfully floating in front of me, and I stopped any more bleeding that was happening.

I continued my sprint up the stairs, careful that Alistair wouldn't be knocked into the railings or walls, and soon, I had reached the top of Dragon Tower. Of course King Felix had a secret entrance to to the tower. Like a private staircase.

As we got to the top, I saw Cecil and Ironfang waiting anxiously.  "What happened?" Cecil asked.  Terris too was running up the stairs, dragging Celeste behind her.

"No time.  I'll explain later.  Get all the dragons ready to fly, because we're getting away from here." Cecil looked a little stunned, but nodded but followed nonetheless.  Carefully placing Alistair's corpse on my dragon brother's back, I hopped on myself, trying to keep the tears in with my willpower of steel.  Terris jumped onto Starfire, pulling Celeste behind her with a sharp yank.  "Terris, you fly first with A- Starfire.  Ironfang and I will take the rear to make sure everybody gets  out safely." Starfire pushed off the ground, wings beating.  She let out a roar, and soon the rest of the fire dragons joined her in flight.  I motioned for Brighttail, and she took off on unsteady wings.  One of the shimmers nuzzled her gently, and Brighttail headbutted the other shimmer playfully.

How are we going to get the terras out of here? Gavin asked.  I froze.  How were we going to get the earth dragons out?  Even if they had wings, they probably couldn't fly- their heavy, undefeatable armour would probably prevent them from doing so.  They do have wings.  I'm just not sure if their wings can support their weight.  We have a long flight ahead of us.

A series of clicks and grunts shook me out of my panicked thoughts.  Prince Ironfang and stranger, if I may offer a suggestion? My mind translated for me.  I whirled around, raising an eyebrow.  It was a terra dragon, a rather big one at that.   There is an underground tunnel that leads to Terrande from the Lukar border.  I can have the my people fly to the tunnel, then guide them to Terrande.

I frowned, turning to my brother.  Who is he?

Mudscale.  Gavin replied swiftly.  Also known as Liam Erdman, son of the mayor of Terrande.  Oh.  So that was who he was.  He turned back to Mudscale, or rather, Liam.  Sure, go ahead.  Mudscale nodding, leaping up with a loud cry.  The rest of the earth dragons joined him in flight, flying to a spot near the border.  Shall we go? I took a deep breath.  "Okay."
