Can I first tell you that balancing a sleeping warlock prince and a silver dragon princess is incredibly hard? Because he is incredibly heavy and she is mumbling and tossing in her sleep. So you have me, using the anemos spell, had to keep it up for the entire ride to Terrande, on a super-speed flying fire dragon, who isn't exactly the best at listening. I was glad I'd thrown Celeste off, where one of the shimmers managed to catch her.
Thank you Kia! Love you too!
I had to force myself to resist from smacking her.
I stared at her sleepy eyes, and pausing to think about what I was going to do, I shrugged. Might as well. I slapped her in the face, and she scowled, bolting upright immediately. "What in Lukar?"
"You currently mean, what on Gavin." Oh yeah, did I tell you that Adara had to link up with Gavin since she couldn't carry them by herself, so in order to balance herself, she kept wobbling around and breaking my concentration? "Since you're currently sitting on your brother. 'What in Terrande' works also. We've just passed the border."
"Where are we?" She mumbled sleepily, and I rolled my eyes. Honestly, Kia, we're on a flying dragon in the sky running away from a crazy king who just attempted to kill his son after plotting and attempting- but thankfully failing- to kill his other two children. Where do you think we are?
"I heard that, Terris." She muttered. "Psychic, remember?"
"I do remember. I just don't care. I haven't been able to sleep for ages, and balancing you and your boyfriend to make sure you don't fall off is pretty tiring and drains your energy pretty quickly, especially when the telekinetic silver dragon is too busy trying to link up with a super speeding fire dragon to help balance you on his own." I ranted.
"You're especially grumpy today." She pointed out, and I rolled my eyes again. I swear, my eyes are so healthy. I do at least 100 eye rolls a day listening to Gavin, Kia, Alistair and Cecil. "And Alistair isn't my boyfriend, so stop saying he is." Like that was totally believable.
I heard that. Gavin mumbled, and I rolled my eyes again.
"Thanks! I didn't realize that at all. And Kia, stop denying the fact that you like him." She immediately blushed a bright red, rapidly denying it. I snickered loudly, bringing her to bury her face in her hands.
"I thought y'all might also want to know that Alistair isn't exactly dead." Kia spoke tightly, her voice muffled.
Alistair died? Are you s***ting me? When did that happen? And what do you mean by 'not exactly dead'? Gavin asked, flabbergasted. I rolled my eyes once again. He was telepathic- shouldn't he have been able to read Kia's mind? No, I can't. I'm not sure how she knows, but she blocked me from her mind.
"I didn't exactly block you from my mind." Kia mumbled, a stupidly silly smile on her face. "And do shut up, brother, I was just getting to that part. Anyway, I went into Alistair's mind, and long story short, he's in a coma. Mom and dad are training him to bring himself to life because he's a necromancer." There was a moment of pure stunned silence, and Gavin almost stopped flying and let us all plummet to the ground. He didn't seem to believe Alistair was a necromancer who's powers just happened to manifest when he died.
You saw mom and dad? There was a hint of jealousy in Gavin's voice. Mom and dad are training Alistair because he's a dead warlock who's supposed to bring himself back to life?
"Yup." Kia muttered, popping the p. "Apparently Alistair is our god-brother, because our parents are his godparents."
"Gavin, you are an idiot. Kia, you are also an idiot. So, I, Terris Hunter, am just going to jump off this dragon and find my own way to Terrande." I sighed, and as I prepared to leap off, I was stopped by Adara. No! Don't leave me, Terris. I'll bring you there. Just let me- there you go. Okay, broke the connection with Gavin. Fast or fast?
