"So what's the game plan?" It was Dagen who had asked the question, with Cole casually sitting on his lap, messing with his long dark hair. I tried not to gag, but Dagen's curls only reminded me of Dante and... ugh. Guys are complicated, as shown by Alistair and Gavin. I tried not to think about them.

Next to the couple were Ciana and Lucas. The young princess was idly doodling on a little piece of paper, her small fingers tracing patterns and swirls, a trail of sparkles following each move she made. Lucas glanced over at what Ciana was doing, and then rolled his eyes, leaning on Ciana's mini throne as he began to doze off. That boy seemed to find everything boring.

Berniss also seemed to be doodling next to Ciana, and the two were chatting in hushed voices, blonde hair and platinum locks clashing together. With Ciana's intelligence and Berniss's foreshadowing abilities, those two were a scarily young and dangerous duo. Adara had her throne next to Berniss's, occasionally glancing over at Ciana in a motherly fashion, and tutting disapprovingly at some symbols that she drew. Adara was the mother hen to all the dragon royalty, including Dagen. Though she was young, the burden of responsibility had clearly taken a toll on her. Celeste was watching Ciana intently, sitting in a pink diamond throne, silently wishing that Ciana would turn back into a small sparkly dragon.

I too had my own little throne, as the spokesperson for the realm of Dagat. I looked the most out of place, with all the rest of them in their royal colors, and me, not wishing to accidentally insult anyone, wore a plain blue dress. Father sat in his own chair next to me, but he seemed more concerned about his scrolls than the war. I tried to take a peek, but he slid the scrolls back into his sleeve. He gave a shake of his head. I didn't know if that meant 'tell you later' or 'none of your business'.

Zane was busy, so Liam and Zola had taken his place, and Zola had just smacked Liam on the shoulder for something stupid he had said. It seemed like males and stupidity were inseparable.

Take Alistair, who sat on a small chair next to Gavin's taller throne. They both seemed to be trying to look taller than the other, although they had missed Kia, who sighed and levitated herself up and over both their heads, proving herself the tallest.

I clapped my hands. "Okay, everyone! Listen up!"

I may have been too loud, as chaos ensued soon after. Lucas woke up abruptly, hitting his head on Ciana's throne. Berniss accidentally snapped her pencil in half. Ciana yelped and disappeared. Kia? She lost concentration and fell into Alistair's lap, and they both tumbled onto the floor, the silver dragon princess landing on the green-eyed warlock prince.

Adara shook her head. "You two okay?"

"I'm okay!" Alistair shouted. "I took the brunt of the fall, but I should be fine!" Within seconds, Kia was up in the air again. I sighed. Such little things could break her concentration. Example? Alistair. Those two better work out if they were a thing or not or I would physically push them together and force them to be a thing. That's how done I was.

"Thank you for your obvious commitment to this meeting, I am thrilled to see how many of you guys are here and ready to listen and plan but we have a war coming up? It would be a bit better if you guys are actually focusing on what is happening instead of doodling, sleeping, or flirting." The dark-skinned earth dragon chief gave me a look, and I lowered my head. "Zola is excluded because she is actually trying to get Liam to listen. Thank you, Zola."

She gave me a half- smile, before turning and glaring at Liam.

"Night dragons should go first. We could give you guys cover and use the shadows to stop their attacks, should they try." Dagen suggested.
