I don't know why, but I feel like I should tell you guys how many days have passed since Gale and Nashi left their hometown, so that'll be at the beginning of every chapter for now on if that's chill.

Day 2

"Holy crap, how long until we're there?"

"You seemed the most excited about this whole thing to begin with," Nova commented as the group walked on the leafy ground of the forest, "we told you it was gonna be a long trip."

"I didn't think you meant this long!" Nashi retorted to her.

Gale rolled his green eyes, "we haven't even been walking for that long."

"It's been more than a couple hours, it's getting dark now." Storm said, "the longest I've ever had to walk was only about two hours, mister 'I'm a thief so I can't risk travelling on horseback or carriages'" Storm snorted after he finished what he was saying.

"What, are you going to complain about your legs?" Nashi said in a sarcastic voice, "never had to walk before?"

Storm clutched his fist and stopped, he turned towards the dyed raven, "you were the first one to complain!"

"I was kidding! I'm not tired at all!" Nashi stood up in his face, their foreheads touching. Again, not in a romantic way.

He snorted, "...speak for your sore legs."

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me!"

Nova rolled her eyes, "can you guys stop? Ms. Psychic is just a couple trees away, let's just get there and then she'll deal with you."

The two rivals started walking, it seemed like their heads were stuck together with the power of tree sap. They kept trying to push each other in the trees around them.

Gale sighed, "she doesn't even realize what you called Rose." He held on to the straps of the pack he had wrapped on his shoulders.

"I know," Nova said, then raised an eyebrow suspiciously, "I wasn't aware that you were on a nickname basis with her."

He shrugged, "I didn't know it either. You got a problem?"

"No, why would I?" she looked ahead, her lips pursed. No one saw it, but her cheeks showed the tiniest bit of red.

"You should respect those older than you, fake hair," Storm said to Nashi, they seemed like they were having a staring contest with each other. Neither of them blinked while talking back to each other.

"Oh shut up," Nashi said, head butting him, trying to get him to fall down. "You're only two years older than me."

"Two years and four months," Storm corrected.

Gale had his hands behind his head, "wow, you guys know each other's birth dates, congratulations," he said sarcastically.

The trees around them towered above everyone, the light pouring in every couple of steps. Green clashed with brown, orange, and yellow. It was extremely pretty, to say the least. The only one who really acknowledged it, however, was Nova. Even if she mostly sales the seas, she loves the forest every time she walks into one. She really does try to take everything in at once, because most of the time, she doesn't have time to take it one thing at a time.

"Hey buttheads," Gale called out, "we're here."

Nashi and Storm immediately pulled away from each other. Storm looked up at Rosemary's house, which just so happens to be a tree house. Nashi was next to him, looking on the ground for her home.
