Chapter 9- Secret Admirer

Matthew is still in Paris. He stayed a little bit longer. 

He recently just saw the online news about the announcement of Erik and Roan's engagement. They are having their engagement party in two weeks. He got an email from Erik a few days ago and was asking if he was able to get back to the Philippines, and invited him to the party if he is in town.

He wasn't sure what to do. Part of him just want to forget about Roan and never see her again but a part of him is aching too see her again.

His work is finished in Paris, he was scheduled to go back to New York in two days. He has to decide whether to go back to New York or head to the Philippines.

He poured himself a glass of white wine. He is confused and needed time to think of it.

Will he continue to hurt himself, go back to the Philippines and attend their engagement party, or will he just stay away and try to forget about her. 

It was tough, it was hard choosing an easy way out.

He took off his clothes and brought his glass of wine with him at his tub. He soaked in the tub, he closed his eyes and tried to erase the smiling face of Roan that seem to be programmed in his brain. 

He opened his eyes and took another sip of the wine.

Ahhhhhh, Roan. Why does it have to be you? Why did I meet you a little bit too late?
