Chapter 2 - The beginning

My name is Zumara Romero, I'm 18 years old. Here is a little of my back story before it changed so much.

My life which was a okay life, was crushed and destroyed when my mom passed away. It has been two weeks and a half since she has passed. And my only family is my papi and my little hermana. I have a big hermano but he has his life. So it's just the three of us trying to make it a little normal if you can call it that.

~ A few hours before my kidnapping~

Going to my fridge I see there isn't any soda. I'm not really a soda drinker, but my papi and little hermana are. I walked to my room looking for paper and pen, but didn't find any. So i walked next door to maria's room.

"Maria do you have any paper and a pen?" i asked as i walked in. She looked up from her phone

"i don't know let me look" she said.

"what is with 12 year old's with phones" i thought to myself. i responded with a quick "okay" and went to my room.

As i walking to my room i went and laid down and grabbed my phone from the back pocket in the process. i went on wattpad to finish my book, it was a cheesy love story between a plus-size girl like me falls in love with a sexy blue eyed CEO. I thought out loud " Why can't that be me". Maria came in and gave me a the paper and pen. I got up put my phone in my front pocket and went to the kitchen and wrote down what we needed.

I went to my papi's room and asked "Papi do you need anything from the store?"

"No yo voy mas al rato" he said (no i will go later).

With that i walked out of his room and went to mine to put on my vans. i grabbed my wallet, house keys, and the piece of paper. I checked to see i had my phone in my pocket, i do.

I walked to my papi's room door " Pa I'm leaving now, i'll be back"

" okay, porqe no te llevas lavan?"he said.( why don't you take the van?)

"No it's okay I can walk" i responded.

"Estas segura, se que solo esta dos bloques. Pero ti lo puedes llevar el van."(are you sure, i know it's only two blocks down. but you still can take it)

"Si pa, i want to walk i'm too lazy to drive" i said. (yes dad)

" pues okay, tenga cuidado hay pendejos que no saben manejar" he said. (well okay, but be careful there's a lot of dumb asses who doesn't know how to drive)

I said a quick "okay" and went out the door and locking it. Putting my things in my pockets. You would be thinking "why doesn't she have a purse" to answer your question i don't like them i was never a fan of them, plus it to much work for me. Have you seen them they are like a black hole to different universes.

After i was a house away from mine my neighbors nephew came outside and asked " You going to the store?"

I turned around " yeah why you asking."

" Nothing just asking, you still got that boyfriend" he asks.

"Really he is asking me this, damn he desperate as mango's" I thought. i laughed in my head "damn i'm funny" i thought yet again.

I responded with " No we broke up last month". I never had a boyfriend. i just didn't want to be mean.

" Yes i got a chance " he said thinking i didn't hear. "In your dreams" i thought.

So you are probably thinking " what the hell is going on, is this the boy next door shit". To answer that no he is just a horny dude who wants to sleep with a lot of girls. He isn't even my type, he is a wanna be thug who sells weed and stays up all night having different girls come over. He even got a girl pregnant.

As i was making my way to the store i see a black SUV behind me i guess they are probably lost or something but i heard doors open and close so i turned around a saw 3 really big guys. So i started walking fast i heard one of them say something like "that's her boss wants". What the fuck he means boss wants me so i started running for my life, i heard one of the guys scream " Hey stop". which i don't "Ha ha damn i'm smart."

I tripped over a brick, "wait why is there a brick in the middle of the road " i thought. i got up in a flash. As i kept running looking back seeing the guys are close . As i was about to turn my head, i hit something hard " fuck please don't be a wall or a side of a house (don't ask) but no. Before i fell on the ground cold freezing hands wrap around my waist .

When I looked up i first saw a pair of forest green eyes looking back at me hazel one. "They are so beautiful" i thought. I shook my head to get out my trends. When he wouldn't let go i said "I'm sorry i didn't see you there"sounding out of breath. He started laughing like the villain's in the movies. It sent shivers down my spine.

He wouldn't let go as i was trying to push away, he just tighten his grip. "Thank you for catching me but i really need to go" i said sounding nerves , then out of nowhere i felt a tiny sting on the back of my neck. All i remember seeing was the pair of forest green eyes.
