Jazz's pov-

"Jazzyyyyyy!"I heard Jimmy shouting from downstairs.

"Jimmyyyyyy!"I shouted back before hearing footsteps on the stairs. A second later he was bursting through my bedroom door.

"Hey poopie head."he smiled while wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"Hey fart face."I smiled back through the mirror.

"You're still not ready?"he asked walking over to my bed and plopping down.

"Does it look like I'm ready yet?"I asked and he held his hands up in defense mumbling a sorry.

I finished my makeup and then went to my closet to get my heels. After I was done with that I walked over to Jimmy and held my hands out to help him up. I stopped to get my purse and then followed him downstairs and out the door to my car and headed to Johnny and Lacey's engagement party.

"So did you ever talk to Brian about...you know?"I asked after a couple minutes of silence in the car. It's been like a week since Jimmy came over my house to talk to me about the Brian problem and we haven't talked since.

"Uhh...well. Like I said, he'll come around."he said, squirming in his seat uncomfortably. I thought about questioning him but decided it would probably best not to for whatever reason.

We've been at the party for at least an hour. I was hoping this would be funner but it's not. Not while I know that Brian still doesn't want to talk to me. We've made a few awkward eye contacts and then quickly looked away. I wanted to be happier tonight, I mean it is Johnny and Lacey's party but I can't because of Brian and bitchface. So since I couldn't just be happy naturally, I'll just have to get something that'll make me forget about Brian; alcohol.

I've had a few drinks by now and it was really crowded in here so I decided to go outside for some fresh air. Bad idea. As soon as I walked out, I found Brian leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette. Well I was enjoying myself up until now...

We sat there in awkard silence until I saw Brian out of the corner of my eye, about to go back inside.

"Bri wait!"I said grabbing his arm to stop any more movement.

"What?"he groaned.

"You can't be mad at me forever. I said I was sorry."

"Jazz."he sighed in frustration.

"Bri come on. We're best friends. We've been best friends for ten fuckin years and you really wanna ruin that all because of one silly argument?"

"It's not just that Jazz. There's more to it than that."

"Like what?" I asked placing my hands on my hips.

"Just...don't worry about it. Forget it."

"Forget it? You mean forget the past ten years of my life? Forget everything we've been through together? How the hell do expect me to do that Brian?"

"The same way I'm going to!"

"Which is what? Love your wife because she treats you so great? Just let her walk all over you like some piece of shit on the sidewalk? That's how you're gonna spend the rest of your life forgetting about your bestfriend? Sorry I don't have anyone to do that for, I would never let someone do that to me."

"She doesn't treat me like a piece of shit. We have fights and that's fucking normal. What relationship doesn't have that? You just think that she treats me that way because all you ever saw was our fights."

"Because that's all you let me see! You never told me how much you love each other. You never told me how crazy you are for each other. You did that for like what the first month of your relationship? After that you didn't tell me anything. After that you didn't even talk about her. And once you got married the only thing you ever told me about was your fights. So how do you expect me to think that she actauly cares Brian?!"
