Brian's pov-
"Bri that one's ugly."Jazz protested.
"What do you mean it's ugly?"I asked, standing in front of the brown crib. I don't know how people can do this shit. "It's plain and simply. Perfect."
"It won't look good with the color you're painting the walls."
"So we'll paint them a different color."I shrugged.
"Can we just keep looking?"she asked, gesturing towards all the other cribs.
"Fine."I groaned. "How long have we been here anyway?"
"Not even twenty minutes dude. So quit your whinning."she said, pulling my beanie down in my face.
"I'm not whinning."I scoffed, fixing my beanie on my head.
"You were about to."
I rolled my eyes and took her hand, letting her lead me around the store to look at cribs. I feel like I've been in here for hours.
"How about this one?"she asked standing in front of a white crib.
"It's the same as the one over there, and over there, oh yea and over there."I said pointing to several different cribs.
"No it's not. This one converts to a toddler bed. So then when she grows up you won't have to buy her a new bed."
"Should we get that one?" I was completely clueless about this type of stuff and that's why I had Jazz here with me.
"Dude it's your daughter and it's going into your house. Meaning it's up to you."
"Fine we'll get it."I grumbled.
She rolled her eyes but there was a small smile tugging at her lips. "We'll come back for it. You still have to look at other stuff."she said making me throw my head back and groan in frustration. She chuckled and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the stroller section.
"This ones nice right?"I asked pointing to a brown, green, and blue one.
"Yea if you were having a boy."she retorted. "How about this one?"
I scrunched up my nose at that one. "It has a giant flower on it."
"You're having a baby girl, Brian. You're going to be seeing a lot of shit with flowers on it."she chuckled. "This one?"
"It's too pink. I can't push around a pink stroller babe."
"Did you not just hear the part about you're having a girl?"
I just shrugged my shoulders and walked off to go look at a different one.
"What about this one? It's not too girly."
I turned my head to see what she was talking about. It doesn't look too bad. "Yea, I like that one."
***
"Finally. How fucking long were we in there for?"I asked as we walked to the car.
"About two hours."she shrugged as if there were nothing wrong with that.
"Two hours of fucking hell."I mumbled as I loaded stuff into the car. We bought the stroller, the crib, a dresser, and a few other things that I made Jazz do all the work of picking out.
"And now we get to go home and paint."she smiled cheerfully.
"First you have to feed me."
"Fine, we'll stop by a wendy's or something on the way."
