Jazz's pov-
Me and Jimmy were sitting in Brians kitchen, waiting for him so we could leave. Today I was hanging out in the studio with the guys. It's pretty awkward whenever me and Jimmy are in Brian's house when Lauren's home. She doesn't like either of us and we certainly don't like her. When she's doing work around the house or just walks into the same room as us, me and Jimmy just sit there trying not to laugh at the awkwardness. I think it gets to her more than it gets to us because we usually just laugh it off. But I don't think she knows how to do that. The only one I feel bad for though is Brian. It must put him in a reeaaally awkward position.
Lauren walked in the kitchen going straight for the fridge and pouring herself a glass of skim milk. Me and Jimmy shared glances, trying not to laugh because he put hot sauce in it earlier. I've heard him talking about that kind of milk before so I don't know if he has something against the milk or just loves to torture Lauren. Either way it's still funny.
"Lauren take your phone."Brian said walking into the kitchen with Lauren's phone in his hand. "Some Collin guy called and texted you."
I don't think he noticed it but a look of panic flashed across her face. The paniced look quickly went away though when she noticed that he didn't seem to care. Maybe I'm just being stupid but there was definitely something suspicious about that. I looked at Jimmy to see if he noticed it too, which I think he did judging by the look he gave me. Jimmy usually notices everything though so I'm not surprised. He just shrugged it off so I did the same for now.
"This taste weird."Lauren said with a sour expression after taking a sip of milk.
Jimmy and I looked away, focusing on anything but her and Brian, while fighting off the urge to laugh.
"Maybe it's expired."he shrugged. "You two ready to go?"
We nodded our heads getting up from our seats. Brian said goodbye to Lauren, giving her a quick kiss and then we followed him out the door and to his car. We drove in silence, just listening to the radio until we got to the studio, where our friends were relaxing outside.
"Jazmin!"Zacky shouted when he saw me.
"Zackary!"I shouted just as loud, returning his hug. "Don't ever call me that."I said seriously, smackin his chest. He chuckled mumbling a 'whatever' and walked away.
"Hey bitchy."Johnny smiled giving me a hug.
"Hoe."I responded. He did the same as Zacky, chuckling and walking away.
"It's about time you came around here."Matt said wrapping his big arms around me from behind and leaning down to kiss my cheek.
"Dude I was just here last week."
"Still too long."he said. "And by the way I'm having a little party at my place tomorrow."he told me as he kept one of his arms around my shoulder and led me into the studio behind everyone else.
"I'll be there. Is Val gonna be there?"I asked.
"Yup."
"So I take it things are going good with her?"
"Yea, we're great. You two should actually hang out more, I think you'll get along pretty well and you would get along better with her sister Michelle."
"I know dude. I met them already, remember?"
"Yea but that was when they were all shy."
"And they're not shy anymore?"
"Well...I mean a little bit but I'm sure they would be more comfortable if they had our girl making an effort to be friends with them."
"Who said I wasn't making an effort?"
