Jazz's pov-
"Happy birthday!" Zacky's voice boomed from behind me as I felt two arms wrap around me followed by a sloppy kiss on my check. I turned my head to say thank you to Zacky as he was still standing behind me but I felt another pair of arms wrap around me from the front. The only thing in my vision as I turned back around was blonde hair.
"Happy birthday!"Gena chirped kissing my cheek also. I got a thank you in to the both of them before Jimmy's loud obnoxious shout for a group hug was heard through out the yard and another pair of lanky arms were wrapped around me, followed by another pair.
"Ok guys can we please not make this birthday my last? I'd like to live up to at least fifty ya know."I chuckled and they all started removing themselves from me. I already knew that one pair of arms belonged to Zacky, and another Gena, and the third Jimmy so I turned to see who the last was which turned out to be Brian who held a cheeky grin on his face.
"Hey birthday girl." He pulled me in for another hug and I took that time to breath in his scent, which to me was heavenly, by the way. "Should I give you your present now or later?" he asked pulling away.
"You didn't have to get me one dipshit, but later is fine." I told him before running off to Michelle who had just arrived. Matt was right when he said we would get along great. We've been pretty close ever since that mall trip us girls took which was less than a month ago. In the past month I've listened to what Jimmy told me to do...well for the most part. Sit back, relax, and let Lauren destroy her marriage with Brian. I don't think about it that much but honestly I wish we could speed up the process. All this waiting is making me kind of anxious.
Speaking of which, I looked around the yard noticing Lauren wasn't anywhere in sight so I'm guessing she didn't come with Brian. Not that I minded though, I'd rather not have her at my birthday party. My birthday party that Jimmy threw together and he made sure everybody knew that. He's been walking around taking credit, telling everybody that this was all his doing.
He bought the alcohol and soda, got the cake, the party decorations (probably used too much tape but it's ok), invited everyone, made a whole playlist for the party, and ordered probably more than enough pizzas. After all the only people coming were me, Jimmy, Brian, Matt, Val, Michelle, Johnny, Lacey, Gena, Zacky, Papa Gates, Suzy, McKenna, and the Berry brothers.
I was running around snapping pictures with everyone with the new camera that Papa Gates and Suzy got for me. I told them they didn't need to get me something so nice but they insisted, and I qoute, "anything for our daughter and we owe you for taking care of our dipshit son." I stopped to talk to Brian after taking a picture with him and Zacky, which we all made silly faces for.
"What's up dude?"I asked sitting next to him. We dangled our feet in the pool and Zacky got up to get another drink, leaving me and Brian alone.
"Hey, you enjoying your birthday?"he asked.
"Of course. I'm spending it with the best people in the universe."
"Yea we are pretty awesome...mostly me though."he smirked. I chuckled rolling my eyes and punching his arm.
"How come Lauren didn't come?"I asked letting my curiosity get the best of me.
"She's spending the weekend with her friends. I hope you don't mind that she didn't come." I cringed as he explained that, wondering if 'spending the weekend with friends' meant 'sneaking off with Collin'
"No of course I don't mind."
"Yea stupid question huh?"he chuckled. I mumbled a yea biting my lower lip.
"Bri do you ever feel like...like maybe-"I stopped mid sentence as Jimmy splashed me, making me sheild my new camera behind me. He gave me a look, obviously knowing I was going to say something I promised to him I wouldn't say. I wasn't allowed to say anything about Lauren and Collin, not even hint at it.
