Jazz's pov-

Pregnant? She's pregnant?

At first I thought she was saying she's pregnant with Brian's baby. But that's not really possible right? She's been with Collin and hasn't seen Brian for like a month? But if it is Collin's baby then why would she be here telling us?

"What do you mean?"Brian asked.

"There's only one thing that I could mean by saying I'm pregnant Brian."

"And you're telling me this because...?"

"Why the hell do you think I would be telling you this?"she rolled her eyes, obviously getting annoyed with the dumb questions already. I don't know if Brian's brain wasn't functioning right because of the shocking news or because he didn't want to believe it. Hell I didn't even want to believe it.

"That's not my kid."he stated although it sounded more like he was trying to convince himself rather than her.

"How far along are you?"I asked.

"About three months so there's no way it could be Collin's baby."she said.

"Yes it damn well could!"Brian growled. "How long were you cheating on me for?"

"Brian I never cheated on you. Collin and I didn't get together until after I asked for the divorce."

"Whatever." He stood up and headed for the kitchen, leaving me alone with these two. How awkward.

"What are you doing here anyway?" Lauren asked me after a moment of silence. "None of this is your business."

"It's not your house anymore so I don't think it matters to you who walks through that door."Brian stated before I could get a word in as he emerged from the kitchen with a beer in his hand. He took his seat again and another awkward silence was cast upon us. Brian held his gaze on his beer, occasionally looking over to the other couch while I kept my eyes on the floor.

Poor Collin. Probably had no idea what he was getting himself into when he started falling for Lauren.

"How long have you known?"Brian was the one to break the silence.

"The day after I left."Lauren answered. "I kind of had a feeling I was pregnant before but I wasn't sure."

"So...what does this mean?"

"Are you going to be in your kids life or not?"she asked.

"I don't know."he sighed running a hand over his face.

I gave him a bewildered look that he didn't notice because he wasn't looking at me and roughly nudged his side causing him to snap his face towards me. I gave him a stern look, hoping that he would just say yes. I know I don't like Lauren...at all. And would rather not have her back in Brian's life but the kid didn't do anything. Every child deserves to have two loving parents. Although I'm sure Collin will still be there for Lauren and most likely step up to the plate to take care of the child if Brian doesn't but it would still be wrong for Brian to say no.

"Can we just talk about this later?"he sighed. "I'm tired and can't even think straight right now."

I could tell his response pissed Lauren off. She stood from the couch and marched to the front door with Collin following and slammed the door shut after leaving.

"You are going to say yes."I stated after a couple minutes of silence.

"Are you serious?"he asked looking up at me like I was the one being ridiculous.

"Yes I'm serious."

"That child might not even be mine. Besides she has Collin now. He can be the perfect husband that raises her children."

"You really want him to raise your child?"I pressed.

"Did you not hear what I just said? That child might not even be mine!"

"Brian I don't like Lauren. I never liked her from the moment I met her. But I honestly don't believe that she ran around having sex with anybody else while you guys were married. Collin even said that he respected your marriage enough to not do that. So as much as I don't want to believe it, I think that baby is yours. And it would be a really asshole thing for you to do if you didn't take responsiblity for that child."

He let out a loud frustrated groan before taking a large gulp of his beer and speeking again. "She fucked everything up."he said with so much hatred, that it actually surprised me. "I shouldn't have even married her. I should have married you." Again he surprised me. "And now I finally have you and she comes back with my child. This is bullshit."

"You can still have me as long as you man up and take care of that baby."

He looked at me again, this time he looked slightly confused. "So you wouldn't care if Lauren has to be around all the time?"

"She doesn't have to be around all the time. My guess is that you'll get to have the baby on the weekends since that's usually how it works. And yes that does mean you'll have to see Lauren but it's not like she's going to be here with you and the baby."

"I don't know anything about babies."

"It can't be that hard. Besides I'll help you." I smiled and he smiled back before leaning in to kiss me.

"The next time I get married I'll make sure you're the bride instead of one of the bridesmaids."

"Wooah slow down there skippy."I chuckled, trying to ignore the butteflies in my stomach. "You just got divorced about a month ago, you just found out your ex wife is pregnant with your baby, and you're already planning our wedding when we're not even official yet? That's how I know you're insane."

Wow his situation sounds a whole lot worse when you say it out loud...

He laughed at that despite the shitty situation. "Well I don't think I could go wrong with marrying my best friend. And this conversation right here makes us official."

"How so?"I asked.

"Because I say so."he shrugged with a sly grin. He kissed me one more time before standing up and pulling me up with him so that we could go to bed.

Another update already? Yea I was bored and didn't feel like waiting to put this chapter up :p
