Brian's pov-

"Jazzyyy!"Jimmy shouted as we entered her house.

"Shut up, I'm right here."she chuckled walking down the steps.

"You ready?"I asked swinging my arm around her shoulders.

"Yea."she said with a deep breath and then a heavy sigh.

Jimmy gave her a kiss on the cheek and then led the way out the front door and to my car. I got in the drivers seat while Jimmy and Jazz got in the back. I turned on some music and then started driving to the cemetary where Jazz's brother was buried. Today marks seven years that he's been gone. Seven years ago Jazz lost one of her favorite people in the world.

I stopped the car and the three of us hopped out. Jimmy's arm hung around her shoulder while she held the flowers for him as we walked to his grave. I'm sure this isn't the first time she has visited him all year. She comes by for his birthday and sometimes when she's feeling down.

She sat down, followed by me and Jimmy and then placed the flowers on his gave. We didn't speak. I'm sure those two were lost in their own worlds, playing the memories in their heads while my mind wandered to the day he died.

I remember we had all gone out to a party. It was in the middle of summer and we would party like atleast three or four times a week. We didn't always get super fucked up but we always had a good time. Me, Jazzy, her boyfriend at the time, Jimmy, Zacky, Johnny, and Matt went together and ended up running into Jazz's older brother Chris. He wasn't super protective of her and didn't mind that she wanted to go to parties and have fun but he always remembered to keep an eye on her as long as he wasn't too fucked up himself. Usually when we saw Chris at parties we would just say hi, maybe hang out for a while but Jazz didn't like to hang out with his friends all that much so we wouldn't stay with them for long.

That night we didn't drink much. All of us already had already gotten wasted the night before and suffered from pretty bad hangovers so we weren't trying to do that two days in a row. Because me, Jazz, and Jimmy were so close, pretty much tied at the hips, the three of us would leave together. So when Jazz decided she was ready to go home we walked her to her house at like midnight, made sure she had successfully snuck into her bedroom window and then me and Jimmy crashed at my place.

I woke up around three a.m to go to the bathroom. As I walked through the hall I heard voices and what sounded like crying so I went downstairs. I found my dad and Suzy sitting on the couch. Suzy was on the phone in tears, while my dad sat next to her with a few tears making their way down his face too. I asked what was wrong and he said "Jazz's older brother Chris got into a terrible car accident." I remember my first thought after I finally comprehended what he said was, "Oh shit. Is Jazz ok?" I know she was at home most likely sleeping so she wasn't in the car with him but I knew she would be a mess right now.

Chris was in the car with one of his buddies after the party ended and of course there was a bunch of drunk teenagers who shouldn't have been driving that night. Chris's friend was drunk and so was the driver of the other car. I don't remember how exactly it happened but they collided into each other. Chris wasn't wearing a seat belt and went right through the windsheild.

So when I finally understood what my dad had just told me, I wanted to go see Jazz but at that very moment I was in no condition to. What help would I be to her, if I was sobbing too? Chris was a close friend to my older brother Brent, who was asleep right now. So between Jazz and Brent, I got to know Chris pretty well. He was happy and supportive when we first started our band. He would always join us in making fun of Jazz which has always been one of the funnest things to do, as long as she didn't get mad, and she never did. He was your typical cool older brother. I remember he was always there for Jazz. He was one of the funniest people we knew and everday at school Jazz would have a story to tell about something he said that made her laugh.
