Jazz's pov-
"Bri! I'm here!"I shouted when I got inside.
"Hey shithead."he smiled that gorgeous smile of his as he emerged from the kitchen with a bottle of beer in his hand.
"Dipshit."I shot back. "And really? It's like twleve in the afternoon and you're already drinking?"
"Yes I am. Is there a problem?"he asked sitting down on the couch and pulling me down with him.
"I don't know. Ask your liver."
"Blah blah blah."he said letting his inner child shine threw.
"So where's that wife of yours?"I asked.
"What is with you and Jimmy? My wife has a name. Lauren. Say it with me. Laur.En"he said slowly.
"Yes I know her name."I said gently slapping his arm.
"Good...and she's spending the weekend with some friends."
"Why did something happen?"I asked suddenly becoming concerned.
"Nothing happened. It's been like two months since we got back from that vacation and everything has been perfectly fine. Barely even fighting."he said with a proud smile.
"That's great."I lied putting on a fake smile. "Well we should probably get going. I'm sure the guys are waiting for us."I changed the subject, wishing I never even brought it up and stood up from the couch.
"Yea probably."he agreed getting up from the couch too. He went to the kitchen to get rid of the beer and then followed me outside to his car so we could go to the studio.
Lauren's pov-
"So this is the same resort you and Brian were at?"my friend Krysten asked me. Right now we were lounging around the pool, getting our tan on.
"Yea. This place is so nice. You girls are gonna love it."
"So where's that Collin guy your meeting up with?"Maria asked.
"He's meeting us later."
"So what's up with you two anyway? You're not into him or anything right?" Maddison asked.
"Well he's a nice guy. But I love Brian. And things have even got better between us."
"What if things start going wrong again?" Krysten asked.
"Then we'll fix it."I shrugged.
"I honestly think that if things start to go wrong again then you should just leave him."Maria stated. I rolled my eyes. She's my bestfriend but she really hates Brian. She loved him when we first started dating because he always kept me happy but after all the fighting started she hates him. She's the one I tell everything to, and cry to so she knows everything about our relationship. She thinks that if he keeps making me upset than I should just leave his ass. But I can't blame her. Most friends would want that so their bestfriend to be happy and stay that way.
"I mean if he's always putting you threw all this shit, you just don't deserve that. Now Collin, he seems like a sweet guy, who will keep you happy."she continued.
"Yea and you said that about Brian when we first got together."
"But Collin wants everything that you want. A happy marriage and kids."
"Brian wants that too. It's just not the best time for him."
"What about the best time for you? Do you really wanna be like fourty when you have your first kid?"
"We're not going to wait that long."
"Fine, but I'm telling you, Collin is a better match for you."
"Can we just drop it. This is supposed to be our weekend. There's no need to worry about Brian right now."
"Yea Collin will make sure of that."she mumbled.
Brian's pov-
"Hey get me a beer!"Jimmy shouted as I got up to leave the room.
"Fuck off."
I got outside and pulled out my phone, checking for any messages or missed calls. None. Lauren's been gone since yesterday and hasn't even tried to contact me even though she said she would. Oh well, guess I'll just have to call her.
"Hello?"she asnwered after a couple of rings.
"Hey babe. You never called me."
"Oh that's right. I'm sorry."
"It's fine, you having fun?"I asked. I heard some voices and giggling in the background.
"Stop Collin! I'm on the phone with Brian"I heard her giggle away from the phone. Then I heard a male voice'Oh im sorry. Don't mean to disturb you and your hubby'he said in teasing tone followed by another one of her giggles. "I'm sorry Bri, what did you say?"she asked.
"Who's Collin?"I asked.
"Oh um...just some guy Maria's been flirting with."
"Oh ok. Well I asked if you were having fun."I repeated.
"Yes, me and the girls are having an amazing time."
"Good. So I guess I should let you go then huh?"
"Yea, we're kind of busy right now. But I'll talk to you later. Bye, I love you."
"Love you t-" she hung up before I could even finish. I shurgged and stuffed my phone back in my pocket, thinking nothing of it. She's just trying to have fun with the girls.
I went back inside, and grabbed a beer for Jimmy and myself before going back to work on the new song.
Sorry I had to delete this one because I realized I forgot to put up the chapter that was supposed to be before it. How I managed that? I do not know. So if you didn't already read the last one you should probably do it now. Better late than never right? ;p
