Jazz's pov-
"Good morning."I heard a creepy voice coming from behind causing me to jump and yelp.
"Jimmy what the fuck. You scared the shit out of me."I said smacking his arm as he laughed. "What the hell are you doing here anyways?"
"Just came to see my little muffin. Have you heard from Brian lately?"he asked.
"He text me the night you guys were coming home. But neeither of us have made an effort to talk since then." I turned back around to find him giving me a weird look. "No we're not fighting or anything. We just haven't talked."I added. "Why, is something wrong?"
"No no. He just hasn't been in the studio all week. I mean I do that sometimes but it's not usual for him to do it."
"Have you called him?"
"Yea but he didn't answer so we text him. He says he's just working on some shit."
"Ok then let the man work on some shit. I'm sure it will be good."
"Well you're his best friend so how about you go over there to see how he's doing."
"You're his bestfriend too Jimmy."
"Jazz will you just go. I have a bad feeling about something, I just can't explain it." His voice sounded like he wanted to play it off but I could see right through it. He was definitely worried. And if Jimmy's worried, I guess I should be worried too.
"Fine. I'll go over after work. Speaking of which, I have to leave." I said checking the time. I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, shouting a 'bye' as I walked out the door.
I got out of my car, walking up Brian's drive way and to the door. I didn't see Lauren's car so I'm guessing she was out with her friends...or Collin. I got to the door and knocked. On the other side I could hear Pinkly's barking but no one answered. I looked around to make sure Brian's car was definitely here, which it was. I knocked again and still got no answer. Maybe he's just in the music room and can't hear me. I found my copy of Brian's key, unlocked the door and let myself in.
Pinkly was already waiting at my feet so I scooped the little furball up. I held her in my arms as I walked in living in search for Brian. To my surprise he was in there, just sitting on the couch starring at the tv. I looked at the tv and he was watching some stupid show but it was muted. I looked back at him as he kept his eyes on the tv, not even acknowledging me. But it didn't look like he was actually paying attention to what was on the screen. More like he was just starring at, lost in his own thoughts or something.
"Dude hello?"I said waving my hand. He lazily turned his head to look at me, giving his hand a slight wave and then turned back to the tv.
I sighed putting Pinkly down, walking a bit closer to him and crossed my arms over my chest. "Are you just gonna ignore me?"I asked, getting no answer. "Dude come one. I'm hungry. Let's get something to eat."
"I'm not hungry."he mumbled, showing no emotion in voice.
"Well let's go to the beach or something. It's so nice out. And looks like you haven't been outside in days."I said, waiting a minute before he responded.
"Jazz leave."
"No. Come on. Let's go do something. You can't stay locked up in your house just working on whatever. Get some fresh air dude."
"Lauren left me!"he shouted. "I'm not sitting inside all day because I'm working on the album. My wife...she...Jazz just go the fuck home."
"I'm not leaving dipshit."I sighed walking over and dropping on the couch next to him.
