Jazz's pov-

"So has Matt told you he loves you yet?"I asked Val as we sat in the food court in the mall. She blushed and I wondered if maybe I shouldn't have asked that if it might have been too personal. But I figured not since we were on the topic of boys. Whoops.

"Yes!"Michelle answered for her with a grin making Val blush more and chuckle. "Yes he has!"

"Yes! I knew he had deep feelings for you!"I exclaimed.

"There's no need to be embarrassed and blush about it hun."Gena chuckled rubbing Val's arm.

"I'm not embarrassed I just...I don't know."

"Well you do love him too right?"I asked immediately jumping into protective sister mode for Matt.

"Yes of course."she answered quickly.

"It was just a touchy subject?"Lacey asked.

"Yea kind of. He was so nervous to tell me. He almost looked scared." As Val said that I knew exactly why he was like that and why it had taken him so long to tell her. "I'm just worried that maybe he thought he needed to say it even if he didn't feel-"

"That's not it."I cut her off. "That's absolutely not the problem."

"Than what is it?"she asked.

"Well as you know Matt is such a sweetheart."I started and Val nodded her head vigerously along with the other three girls. "But some girls in his past just took him for granted, or were only interested in the money and only pretended to care. So he's had his heart broken many times so I think he's just trying to be a little cautious this time. It's nothing against you."I assured her. She nodded her head and might have been about to say something but was cut off by her sister's shrieking.

A guy who I'm assuming was Collin as Michelle shrieked, turned at the sound of his name and a smile broke out across his face as he started making his way over here. Once she said his name my mind went back to the other day when Lauren had some guy named Collin calling and texting her. But no this can be any Collin. It's not like there's only one Collin in the world.

"Hey Michelle!"he said greeting her with a hug.

"Guys this is my old friend Collin. You remember Val don't you?"she asked. He nodded his head giving Val a half hearted hug saying hey before Michelle intoduced the rest of us.

"So what brings you here today?"she asked.

"Oh nothing just getting something for a friend."he replied nonchalantly.

"Just a friend?"Michelle asked in an unbelieving tone as she ripped the jewlery bag from his grasp and held it out with a smirk.

"Really she's just a friend."he chuckled snatching the bag back.

"Well at least let me see what you got her."she said lightly punching his arm.

He agreed pulling out the box and showing off a gorgeous necklace that had a blue sapphire hanging from the chain and white sapphires surrounding it.

"And she's just a friend?!"Me and Gena simultaneously asked in disbelief.

"Yea she's kind of already taken."

Lauren's taken...But no like I said, it's probably just a different Collin and I'm sure he's just a friend. She loves Brian.

"Well damn do you plan on taking her from whoever she's with?"Michella asked still admiring the necklace and making me wince. Imagine if this really was the Collin and he did take Lauren from Brian. He would be devastated.
