Natalie POV

Auggies head CT came back clear. The only thing that could explain her episode was stress. We don't know from what exactly though. From being away from Sarah? From the attack? From her visit with Charles? We just don't know. Sarah was so obviously stressed. She cried while August got rolled away. I can't help but feel bad for both of them. I wonder if things will get easier for them once we get Auggie a kidney. Once we get her home.

Auggie was awake and talking to Sarah now. I stood outside her room at the nurses station, part working, part observing. Then Connor came to stand next to me. Doing the same. "Watching Sarah, I assume?" I said gazing at him. "Yeah.. I'm worried about her." he told me. "Me too." I sighed. Suddenly my pager started to go off.

I looked up, amazed. "What?" Connor asked noticing this. "They have a kidney. Oh my god they have a kidney." I said louder. Sarah looked up at me. Her eyes wide and her mouth gapping open. I let out a slight chuckle and nodded at her. "This is mine." Connor said, "I want to do it." he added. I nodded. Now it was kidney time

--

We prepped Auggie for surgery and then Connor took her off. Not without giving Sarah a kiss on the lips first.

She then embraced me. "Thank you Natalie. Thank you for everything." I hugged her back and smiled.

Soon Erin ran in the room. She noticed the bed gone. "Oh my," she smiled and hugged Sarah. She was holding a paper in her hand. "Do you know this woman?" she asked holding up the picture for Sarah to see. Sarah shook her head no. "Your mother met with her." Erin informed us. "We think," she paused choosing her words carefully, "we think she might be involved."

Sarah silently nodded her head. "She didn't order a coffee so its hard to tell who she is. Jay is looking at surrounding surveillance footage." she informed us willingly. Soon Erin said goodbye and headed back to the station.

Sarah sighed as she sat on the couch. "I always wondered what the day would be like." she confessed. "What my mom would've told me on the phone after they got the call." she faintly smiled at the memory of her mother. "Auggie has been through too much. She's always thought that a kidney would make her normal, I guess, my mom would tell her over and over, you are Auggie. You will always be my August. Kidney or no kidney. It will not change who you are as a person. But, she never understood," she took a breathe between phrases, "I wondered if her having a kidney really would change her in a way. If she would find some normalcy. My mom expressed her concerns about Auggie thinking it would make her normal but I never had the concerns my mom had about them. But here I am, worrying, concerned." I put my hand on her leg.

"I haven't known Auggie for very long. But what I have found is that she is kind, she is curious, and she most definitely will give you a run for you money," we giggled, "you being in charge will be a change for both of you. But you just have to grab the bull by the horns and just do it. I will always be there for you and her, and if you ever need help disciplining her, she's afraid of Maggie. I'm just a call away" I winked. "I'll be taking you up on that." she smiled. Though Sarah seemed much more relaxed. I knew she wouldn't fully relax until they found who did this to Auggie.

Erin POV

I was sitting at my desk going over some things when Jay came in. "Want to help me look at footage?" he asked holding different tapes in my face." we distributed the tapes between me, him and Olinksy. We followed the woman to millemuin park. After that we saw Clara walk off, and the woman get in a car. "track the plates" Jay said pointing to the computer. "On it"

"The plates track back to someone names Micheal Hartright." Olinksy read out loud. "Got an address?" I asked, he nodded his head. "Let's go" I said grabbing my coat.

Sarah POV

The surgery went perfectly. Auggie now laid unconscious in a hospital bed. Her bandage was taken off and exposed was her large gash and stitches. As well as her bruise which I could now see clearly where it ended. Her somewhat less curly than mine hair was brushed out of her face and softly fell on her pillow.

I smiled at the sight of my somewhat healthy sister. "She did so amazing." Connor said resting a hand on my shoulder. "So What now?" I asked, not knowing how much longer we would be here. "Well she's going to need to rest for about a week. Not getting out of bed. Just rest. Her abdominal area has been through a lot. And her ribs. Then we'll get her moving after that and get her out of here." his voice was full of pride.

I heard soft little grunts from Auggie bed.  I moved closer and pulled a chair up to her. Her eyes then softly opened. She grinned at me without saying a word. I was holding her hand. "You did it." I smiled at her. "Thank you." She said moving her head towards Connor. Natalie then walked in. Auggie started russling trying to sit herself up. "No no, Auggie. Just lay down. You're going to have to rest for awhile. Just lay." She laid back down. Her bed was slightly raised. "I heard my favorite patient was up." Natalie said walking closer to her bed. "Can I see myself?" she asked shyly. "What?" I asked unsure of what she meant. "My head. The bruise. The stitches. I want to see it." she answered sure of herself. I got my phone and put it on camera mode. I handed it to her. She studied her face for several minutes. We all watched intently.

"Will you put the bandage back on?" She asked Connor. "No probably not." he shook his head. "I'm tired." she changed the subject. "Take a nap. We'll leave." Connor said motioning towards Natalie. And soon they were gone and Auggie was asleep.
