Goodbye..?

After your awkward and startling awakening from the Prince, he told you to go ahead and get ready while he waits outside the room.
It unnerved you knowing that somebody was right outside the door as you changed, but at least he was on the opposite side of the door.
You wore Domi's favorite sweater and a pair of Cheri's shorts. (The one with drawstrings)

You always felt strangely comforted when wearing the boys clothes.
Plus it was always funny seeing Domi get all excited and proud that you chose his sweater.
You used to share clothes with them all the time back when you were little, and shared a room. You and Inui could even share clothes at the time.

He really hasn't grown much since then.

You look at yourself in the mirror and comb through your hair with you fingers, trying to straighten it.
However, you had rolled around in your sleep so much that it had become an impossible task without a brush.

Guess you'll have to go get your brush from the Princes room.

You open the door and step out into the hallway.
The Prince was nowhere to be seen, even though he said he'd be waiting out here. You don't really linger on it, and head into the Princes room to get your brush.
You step into the room, and you're immediately taken aback.
Its empty, all of the Princes stuff is gone. And your bag is nowhere to be seen either.
They are leaving today, so they probably just packed up quickly so they could head out early.
Maybe your stuff was taken downstairs? Or put back into your room?

You leave the guest room and head down the stairs.
"Oh, this time its her." Says Cherri, peeking around the corner at you.
"(Y/N), did you sleep okay?" Porri asks as you enter the kitchen.
You smile and hug both of them happily, after that bad drean you were just glad to be back to reality where they were safe. They were a bit confused at first, but gladly returned your hugs.
"Good morning boys" You said as you released them from the hug. They wish you a good morning as well as Cherri hands you a cup of tea.
You thank him before asking "Oh, have you seen my night bag? The (F/C) one?"
The boys ponder for a moment before Porri remembers "I'm fairly certain I saw Grimm take it outside with the Princes bags."
Oh no, you suppose there was a mix up. You'll have to go get it quickly so they don't accidentally leave with your stuff.

You place your cup down on the counter and head towards the front door. "I'll be back, I'm gonna go get my bag and say goodbye."

The closer you get to the door, you can hear talking from the other side getting louder.
After slipping your shoes on you open the door and step out. The rising suns rays were a bit too bright for your Freshly awoken eyes.
You squint at the light for just a moment before your eyes adjust. You close the door and walk towards the carriage, where your grandparents, the Prince, Grimm, Domi & Inui are.
They all seem to be talking, Inui looks like he's on the brink of tears, Domi looks angry, Grimm seems confused, The Prince is composed in an authoritative pose, Your grandfather seemed like he was trying to calm the boys and your grandmother stood there quietly.

You weren't sure if you wanted to get in the middle of this, and ended up freezing in place on the porch.
Unfortunately, you were brought into it anyway when Inui spotted you.
He ran up to you and grabbed you, hugging you tight. Domi noticed and followed his brother in your direction, but instead of a hug, he stood in front of you with his arms out to his sides in a protective stance.
"SHE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE!" Domi screams at you grandpa.

"Its already been decided! Its not your decision to make!" Your grandfather says sternly.

"Its not yours either!" Shouts Inui, his voice trembling like he's about to cry.
You pick him up.
"What is going on here?!" You ask, rubbing Inui's back as he starts to cry on your shoulder.

Your grandfather turned to you and took a step closer. "We only did what we thought was best, not just for the village, but for you too!" He said.

"As if! You only thought of yourself, you selfish old man!" Domi says through gritted teeth.
Grandpa glared at him "Don't talk to me like that, boy. All my life, I have only ever thought about the five of you, and protecting all of you!"

"And this is what you call protecting?!" Domi shouts. Even though you can't see his face, you can tell from his voice that tears are welling up in his eyes.
You feel a knot in your gut begin to build, and your body shakes with anger as Domi and your grandpa continue to argue.

"BOTH OF YOU, SHUT UP!" You scream. They both stop and look at you. Upon seeing his face, you can now confirm the tears in Domi's eyes.
"Why are you all so worked up? Just tell me what's going on."
Your grandfather looks away with an ashamed expression and Domi can't seem to find the words. For a moment, the only sound is Inuis sniffles as he clutches handfuls of your sweater.

The Prince breaks the silence with one sentence.
"You're coming to live with me."

"MY ASS! SHE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITH YOU!" Domi shouts at the Prince, still standing between you and him.

You hear the door behind you open and somebody stepping out.
"what's up with all this yelling?" Porri asks as Cherri looks at you from behind his brother.
Domi quickly turns to Porri and shouts "GRANPA'S OUT OF HIS FUCKING MIND IS WHAT'S UP!"
Porri flinches in surprise and Cherri squeaks at his brothers harsh tone.
"What? Domi, that doesn't answer my question at all." Porri sounded irrated with his brothers vague answer.

"The P-Prince is taking (Y/N) a-away!" Inui says through hics and sniffles.
Porri's eyes widen and he walks towards his grandfather.
"What is he talking about? Grandpa, this is a misunderstanding, isn't?" He gets no answer. "Grandpa?! Isn't it?!" He shouts, becoming more desperate for an answer.
"I'm sorry." Says your grandmother, finally chiming in. Porris eyes fill with tears "No way.."
"How long?! How long will she be gone?!" He asks frantically.

"For however long I choose!" Says the Prince, obviously having lost quite a bit of his patience.

Domi spewed curses at the Prince and Porri stood there, not sure what to say. That's when you felt Cherri place his hand on your shoulder. "Did you know about this at all?" He asks with concern in his voice.
You shake your head "Not one bit."

His expression turned serious for a moment as he asked "Do you even want to go with him? At all?"
You shake your head again.
Cherri scowls.
It was shocking to see him make a face like that.
He takes you by the hand and leads you and Inui towards the door.

But the Prince speaks up before he can reach it.
"Where are you going? We're already going to be late!" He says, stepping towards the three of you.
"THEN LEAVE!" Domi says, blocking the Prince.

"BOYS!" Granny shouts sternly, immediately catching the attention of everybody.
"If she doesn't go, we have no protection from Khasm forces." She looks solemnly at you, locking eyes.
"The gate is.. We can't seal it.."

Your heart skips a beat.
You start tho shake slightly, remembering your dream from last night.
You gently put Inui down, much to his dismay. Cherri holds him to prevent him from grabbing onto you again. Even though he didn't like it, he was going to respect your decision.

You walk past Domi, straight towards the Prince.
You get face to face with him, a serious expression taking over your features. He seems surprised and steps back a bit.
"If I go with you to Nadrous, you'll guarantee their protection?" You ask with a stern voice.
His surprise turns into a charming grin.
"Guaranteed, on my life."
