A beautiful meadow, bathed in green and splashes of pink blossoms. It smelled of fresh air and brewing tea.

It was like home, but without the homes. Through the gaps in the treetop canopy, you could see a clear blue sky. A breeze blew through the air, stirring loose petals and messing your hair.
You close your eyes and let the oncoming air flow between your fingers. You smile to yourself.

A sudden pressure on your stomach forces your eyes to open in pain. But there was no meadow now, just a white ceiling and wavy blonde locks of hair.
...
Wait.

"Look whose awake!" Misandra said cheerfully. She was dressed in a rosy pink gown, frills and lace were abundant. She had her hair styled up in two pony tails, the little girl even wore an expensive looking necklace.
"Ah, well, not like I had much of a choice." You mumble tiredly.
Misandra gets off of you and sits at the end of your bed.
"Doesn't matter~! There's a flower festival coming up in a few days, and I want you to help me get everything ready." The Princess seemed very excited.
As you sit up, you see a table set up behind her, a rack of dresses, stacks of papers, and even more that you had yet to process.
"I've never planned any kind of festival before, I have no experience. So perhaps you should find somebody better suited to-" Any argument was stopped in its tracks by the Princess.
"Let me rephrase it, so its nice an easy for your slow country head to process." She says, her tone for more serious now. She leans close to you, her smile not faltering as her eyes sharpen, making her look almost sadistic.
"You're going to help me with preparations, because I say so." She slides her small frame off of your bed and heads towards the rack of dresses.

You sit there for a moment, not sure how to react to her sudden change in demeanor.
"(Y/N)! Come here, I wanna see if this one would look good on you!" Misandra called out happily.

The Princess basically had you try on dresses for the first two hours of your day. She said she wanted the two of you to "kind of match" for each day of the festival, so she needed to see which ones she liked on you.
The last dress she put on you was apparently one that she got solely for you to wear today.
You weren't used to the way the clothing here fit, and how big the skirts were, they made it hard to move. Not only that, you thought that it must look odd. But Misandra assured you that it looked fine.

She chose one in green because you were a "Plant witch".

After the morning dress up party was over, she turned to you with a smile "we should discuss more over brunch! Come along~" She said, picking up a stack of papers and heading towards the door.
You followed, trying your best not to trip over your skirt.

Walking through the hall was a challenge itself. You were holding up your skirt awkwardly, Though the Princess walked perfectly with not the slightest stumble.

Arriving at a small room, she lead you inside and gestured for you to take a seat at the table.
Both of you sat in the large velvet chairs, and Misandra commanded a butler to bring her sandwiches and tea. She then laid out the papers on the table.

"So, the first day is mostly a celebration for when other royals come to stay in the castle. Their carriages travel down this road here." She says, pointing at a main street on the map. "And its our job to give our guests the most beautiful ride possible. So we have to make it look clean and perfect, and put our best guards along the road, with their shiniest armor!"
She then set another piece of paper down on the table and pointed at an illustration on it, showing two people dancing, surrounded by flowers.
"Day two is a day long party for the guests, with food, music, dancing and beautiful dresses! It takes place in the castle garden." She finishes.
Garden?! There's a garden here?!
You couldn't wait to see it!

"And then the next day is the flower ceremony. Its really pretty! My mom and dad were bonded at a flower ceremony 23 years ago. Anyway, Mom is taking care of that part, so don't worry about it too much."
You felt a bit weird about this gathering, something felt off, but you couldn't put your finger on it.

"And the final day is the farewell. All the guests leave, and the maids clean up when everybody is gone. Mostly this day is about saying "goodbye" a lot, but." She takes another paper and starts to write on it. Her handwriting was very neat and pretty for her age.
"We send everybody home with gifts, and mom trusts me with that this year!" The little girl said, full of excitement.
Now you realized what it was. The common people took no part in this festival. The thought of that made you a bit upset.

You watch as she folds up the paper she was writing on and hands it to a butler.
"Take this to Andral, please."
She turned back towards you and smiled.
"And that's pretty much how it works! I need your help with a lot of it since its my first time planning it by myself. Usually mom helps, but she's too preoccupied trying to look pretty.." Her eyes pointed down as she spoke, You could hear the slightest tinge of sadness in her voice. Even though she was a brat, she was still a kid, a kid with a lot of responsibility being pushed onto her. You felt bad for her.
Despite that, you didn't know what to say to possibly cheer her up.
Acting on impulse, you gently placed your hand on her head.
You couldn't see her face, so you weren't sure what her reaction may be. But she wasn't pushing you away.

The door is opened, and three people enter. A maid with tea, a butler with a tray of sandwiches, and a boy. The same young boy from the dinner table yesterday.
You remove your hand from her head and both of you look up at him.
You hadn't gotten a very good look at him before, but now it was hard not to.
He had light blonde hair like the rest of his family, but unlike the rest of his siblings, he had bright golden eyes. He was short, likely only an inch or two taller then Misandra. His hair had soft curls that reached just below his ears, and he had girlishly pink lips. In fact, he had soft, feminine features in general. Long eyelashes, a cute little button nose, and partially lidded eyes that always looked sleepy. His sleeves were a bit too long, making him look even more delicate and small.

"Andral!" Misandra cheered happily as the boy came towards the two of you.
She hopped out of her seat and ran to him, hugging him tight. He chuckled and hugged her back.

You all sat down and ate together, talking about preparations. Andral was going to be handling the music and the guest book. Misandra would be doing decor and entertainment. And finally you would manage the garden. Food would be taken care of by the eldest brother, caster, who apparently asked to do so.

"Since I'm going to be working in the garden a lot, perhaps I should go and see it?" You asked hopefully.
"Of course, I'll show you where it is so you can get to work." Andral says as he finishes the last of his tea.
