Why would somebody send fairy trinkets with you? There's no point for a human to have them, only fairies can get any magical use from them. Not only that, but isn't dangerous to send this much? Surely the fairies in the village wouldn't have given so many to me, knowing how rare and important they are.
These little charms are vital for the growth of a young fairies magical coordination and capabilities.

Clemente notices your slight distress and sets down his writing to investigate the situation. "Are you feeling alright?" He asks, with a conserned tone. You nod, closing the box. "If you feel unwell, I can check your temperature."
"No, I'm fine, really. But thank you." You smile to him before picking up the chest. "I think something important may have been sent with me by accident." You say, opening the chest.
He hums in thought "Perhaps we could send it back with a trader?"
You stop, your eyes widening as you stare at the chests contents.
"Though there would be nothing to prevent them from just taking it, I suppose." He looks back at you and notices your expression.
He opens his mouth to pose a question, but you speak up before he can. "Fairy cradles.."
Why would they give you these? You don't know the first thing about taking care of juvenile fairies! You carefully pick one up and cup it in the palm of your hand. This one was made of woven pine needles.
Clemente looked at the contents of the box with intrigue "Fairy cradles? Are they perhaps like eggs?" He questions.

"Kind of. The 'shell' becomes their wings. So rather then hatch, they bloom."
You wonder if maybe there were some kind of instructions amongst the rest of your stuff. The music box comes to mind as a possible suspect.
Opening the box, no music plays. Rather you notice that the top only holds more plant seeds.
Looking through the drawers, each one appears to hold its own music box, and all of them have their own song. You didn't play any of them, but you could tell by the pattern of notes on them.

Suddenly the doors to your room swings open dramatically. Before even looking to see who it was, you frantically put the cradle back and close the chest.
"Witch lady~ Are you done yet? Dinners already late!" It was Misandra, the young Princess.
You smiled, standing up and placing the small chest on a high shelf. "I'm very sorry my lady, I can go now if you'd like."
She looks you up and down before questioning. "You're not gonna change?"
Confused, you check your clothes to see if they'd gotten dirty, but they seemed fine. ".. No?" You say warily.
She shrugs "Alright, if that's what you want." Grabbing your hand, the Princess drags you from the room.

You see Grimm in the hall, talking with a chef, appearing to be scolding him. You wave politely to him, getting his attention. He smiles and waves back at you before turning back to his task at hand.
You're taken into the dinning hall, and immediately feel overwhelmed by its size. There were more chairs then people in the room, and the large dangling chandeliers made you nervous. Before you could finish taking everything in, Misandra pulled you towards the table. You notice that Prince Ace was talking to another man at the table, seeming irritated, so much so that he hadn't even noticed you enter the room.
The little Princess pulled out a chair for you. Surprised, you thanked her and sat down. She took her seat next to you. Though looking around, you noticed that every bodies seats seemed fairly distant, but the Princess had placed her seat fairly close to yours.
"Misandra, sweety, don't you think your brother might want to sit next to his friend?" The Queen asks her daughter. The Princess grumbles. "If Ace wanted to sit next to her, he should've gone to go get her."
Hearing his name, Ace looks over, spotting you. He looks confused, like he didn't think you'd be here.
"Sandy, maybe you should trade seats with big brother in case he gets angry" A young boy says. He's sitting on the other side of Misandra.
She puffs up her cheeks "No! I have to get to know her! If she's gonna marry my big brother, I've gotta approve of her first!" She shouts.
Everybody at the table has their own moment of shock before reacting.
Ace went red in the face, weather from anger or embarrassment, it was hard to tell. The man that Ace was arguing with was choking on his tea as he cackled. A man that you assumed to be the king just shook his head.

Ace directed his sudden anger/embarrassment at his cackling brother. "Caster..." He growled at his brother, who grinned at his provoked sibling.
"Boys." The king spoke up "No squabbling at the table. If you're going to fight, do it with swords, not soup spoons."

Both of them settled down immediately. The Queen turned to you and apologized for their outburst. The whole thing seemed strange to you, but it was familiar.
"Its fine, I have four brothers so I'm used to it." You say with a smile.
"These two are enough trouble on their own, I don't think I could handle four of them." The King chuckles.
"My grandma always kept us in check. She could settle a whole room of hyper kids by just clearing her throat."
The King smiles. And for the second time today, you notice the faintest bit of admiration in someone's eyes.
"You're grandmother must've been a well respected Lady." He says.
