MAKALIPAS ANG ISANG LINGGO ay napagdesisyunan nila Stephanie at Dave na magsama na. Tutal, isang buwan na lang din naman ay ikakasal na sila.

"Kat, pakilagay 'yang mga box na 'yan sa Master's bedroom. Patulong ka kay Jaime," utos ni Stephanie sa bagong kasambahay nito na si Katerina.

"Tere, magtulong kayo ni Kat sa pag-aayos dito sa baba mamaya."

"Opo, ate," sagot naman ng bente anyos na kasambahay na si Teresa.

"Baby, let's go upstairs. I'll help you unpack our things," aya sa kanya ng nobyo.

"How did you know this place again?" tanong ni Dave sa nobya habang inaayos ang mga damit niya sa cabinet at walk-in closet.

"Actually, I've known this house since I was in junior high school. This is my former classmate's house before. The last thing I heard about her is when they were selling this house when we are in junior high. Kaya nung nakita ko sa internet na inio-auction ito ay kinuha ko na," paliwanag ni Stephanie habang pinapalitan ang kobre kama at ang kurtina sa kwarto nila.

"Is being an old classmate's house your reason for buying it or there is another story behind it?"

Kilalang-kilala siya ng fiancé niya kaya alam nitong there's more about it.

"Well... Being an old acquaintance's house is one of my reasons. But as you know me, I buy things for a good story. This is our dream house dahil mahilig tayo sa mga ganitong bagay."

"So, what's the story?"

You can see excitement in Dave's eyes as he waited for her girl's response.

"According to my classmate's story, may mga secret rooms daw rito. She found a room with guillotines in it when we were in junior high. She said that there's also a chest that contains white dresses with blood-stains."

"According to her grandparents, it was like a nest for guerrillas back then. Many women were deflowered by them and then killed. Her great grand parents believe that the last victim of those guerrillas is the youngest daughter of their ancestor. It was said that the discovery of that girl's body ended the evil doings of those guerrillas."

"My classmate's ancestors decided not to change that room to serve as a memory of those beheaded girls," mahabang kwento nito.

Tahimik lang na nakikinig sa kanya ang nobyong si Dave habang nakaupo ito sa kama nila.
