Finally after weeks of being followed non-stop by the media, I was able to enjoy the silence in my own room. And it also gave me time to think about everything that had unfolded. According to my grandfather, my father gave my mother white roses when they were dating. Marcus also gave white roses to my grandparents when my father died, which meals I need to know if there is any chance that a white rose was present when my other grandmother died. Could it actually be a coincidence that Marcus likes white roses as well.

My head snapped over as my aunt's voice came from my door,"Gabriella it's time for school. Also to remind you that you have your princess lessons after school." She said.

Completely ignoring her statement, I asked,"When mom and dad was dating what flower did he give her?" I asked. I understood the look of confusion, but non why she struggled to answer at first. Was it the fact that it brought back old memories or was it something else?

"White roses. Why do you want to know?" She asked.

"Grandfather was telling me about my father and mom during their high school days. Grandpa Lionel gave me a photo album with pictures of my mom and dad. I asked grandpa about them." I told her.

"Yeah high school was interesting back then with your mom and father. Everyday was almost like a movie. Guy meets girl, girl doesn't like the guy, guy tries to win the girl over." She said.

"Then guy's little brother doesn't have a problem getting his girl." Uncle said.

"You did have to try very hard for me to notice you. It wasn't until your brother pulled down your pants in front of me to feel sorry for you." My aunt said.

"It worked didn't it, you married me." He said.

"That's because you had the look of a lost puppy when it happened and I felt sorry for you. You was handsome back then." She said. Uncle looked away from his paper to look at my aunt.

"Handsome back then, uhh Ella do you not see these muscles and this face. It has not changed since high school. I mean come on look at this smile." He said. Aunt Ella rolled her eyes. All of us began to laugh until James,my security, came through the door.

"Have a good day at school Gabriella and we will see you later alright." Aunt Ella said. I waved them bye and followed James out the door.

When I arrived to the school everyone was sitting under the tree that was in front of the school. That was something I could always count on not to change. Seeing everyone sitting there in their own conversation.

"Hey girl, how are you?" Savannah said. Nathaniel was laying with his head on his bookbag under the tree with his eyes close.

"I'm doing good but I need to tell you guys something. It's about my father." I said. That peaked everyone interest because they stopped what they were doing to look at me.Even Nathaniel has sat up to sit closer to me.

"What about your father?" Emily said.

"Well grandpa Lionel sent me a present from jail. It was an old photo album with my mom as a child and some that was from her high school days with my father. I asked grandpa Maxwell about my father and he pulled out a photo album. He went into the story of my father as a child then his high school days. To his knowledge my father knew that Marcus had a crush on my mother but he wanted my mother for himself so he always told Marcus to go somewhere else so that he could swoop in. I also found out that while he was trying to court my mother he would also give her a single white rose." I said. I looked at everyone and they were all sitting still with shocked looks on their faces.

"So your father gave your mother white roses." Spencer said.

"Yes, grandpa Maxwell also explained that when Marcus found out my father wanted my mother he changed. He became distant and quiet." I said.
