Chapter 14

No one really talked much at dinner which didn't matter to me because I didn't have much to say. I haven't talked to my friends since the party but they have sent me messages to see if I was alright.

"Gabriella, I know your birthday was ruined but all of your presents are here if you want to open them." Aunt Ella said.

"Thank you, I'll open them later." I said to her. I ate little off my plate but what I really wanted to do was run in the woods again. I could feel my wolf side getting a little antsy.

"Gabriella if you want we could both go into the woods." Maxwell said. I looked at him.

"Your eyes are glowing and you've been restless through out this whole dinner." He said.

"Maybe." I said back. Everyone went back to finished eating. No one was talking and it was really getting on my nerves.

"Can we at least talk about something, it's to quiet in here. I know there has to be something going on in town that we can talk about." I said.

"There's nothing new in town except you being a princess." Maxwell said. I sighed but then I remembered about Britney.

"After you talked to Brittney what happened after that?" I asked.

"After I told her how disappointed we were I told everyone to leave the party she apologize for attacking you. I asked her why did she and she told me how her father always talks about your mother. I didn't think nothing of it because they went to school with each other and was probably remembering the good times." Maxwell said.

"I thought Marcus was married." I said.

"He is, but his wife doesn't participate in anything. She just shops til she drops." Victoria said rolling her eyes.

"So basically she doesn't care what he's doing." I said.

"Yes which is really sad. She's suppose to take her role seriously as a mayor's wife but all she does is spends money." My aunt Ella said. Maybe that's why Britney is the way she is. Her parents could be living in a loveless marriage. He probably saw that with my mother he would of had a better life.

Dinner was over so I decided to video call Savannah. After ringing for three seconds she picked up.

"Oh my god Gabriella, how are you doing?" She asked before I could even say hi to her.

"I'm doing ok." I said to her.

"Hold on for a minute, I'm bringing the rest of the crew on." She said. After a few minutes everyone was on.

"Hey Gabriella." They said in union.

"Hello guys." I said.

"Does this means we have to say princess Gabriella every time we speak to you?" Donovan asked.

"No, you don't have to. It would be nice if I could just go by Gabriella but I know that's not going to happen. At least you guys don't have call me that." I said.

"You should have seen how King Maxwell went off on Britney. He was so angry, I felt a little sad for her...no who am I kidding that was funny." Jack said bursting out laughing.

"He told me he was disappointed but I didn't know he was angry." I said.

"Gabriella your family was probably going to tell you that night before you turned but by Britney making you mad you turned ahead of time."Emily said.

"And if you didn't, you would have known about your family that night when everyone else left the party. But Britney opened her big mouth and now everyone knows you're Prince Maximilian's daughter." Spencer said.
