Chapter 22

When I walked into the hallway it was like I was transported to the enchanted forest. I don't know how they did it but the hallway looked like a forest with trees, vines, and leaves covering the floor. How they were able to do this was astounding. There were two guards at the entrance door. When they saw me they bowed and I curtsied.

"How does it look in there?" I asked.

"See for yourself." One said and they opened both doors. I went from the enchanted forest to a ballroom inside a castle and everyone looked magnificent. On the stage was a throne and on the other side of the gym there was a long table filled with food. The first few students that saw me bowed and I did the same to them but they still stared. As I walked through more and more students bowed but they was making a path for me to walk. I really did feel like snow white.

"Your majesty your throne awaits." A student dressed as a knight said to me.

"My throne, I thought I was here to dance the night away." I said as he guided me to the throne chair.

"Your prince hasn't arrived yet or your friends so we thought it would be best for you to sit here and wait." He said to me. I sat on the throne and watched the students dance away.

"Your drink princess." Another student said.

"You know that you don't have to wait on me." I said taking the drink.

"Then it will take away the moment of the party. It's a fairytale ball and everyone knows that a king and queen or princess is suppose to sit on the throne to watch." He said. Well he had a point there.

"Alright but I expect you to enjoy the party too." I told him. Thirty minutes into the party my friends decided to arrive. The first person I saw was Nathaniel dressed as a prince. He didn't have a crown or cape just the kind of suit that a prince would wear when he has to do something officially. Savannah was dressed as Meredith from the movie Brave, Emily was Cinderella, Spencer a hunter, Trey was Aladdin, Donovan was dressed as prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog, and Jack was dressed as Flynn Ryder from Tangled. I got up from the throne to walk towards them.

"Wow look at you guys." I said. They all bowed and I curtsied.

"Can you take a guess who I am?" Jack said.

"Umm is it Flynn Ryder from Tangled." I said.

"How did you know?" He said.

"Well for one I saw the movie and two your bottom half is Maximus that chased Flynn through the forest." I said. "What took you guys so long?"

"Well we were staking Mayor's Hale house to find a way to get in." Emily said.

"Did you find a way to get in?" I asked.

"The back door is locked unless you have a key and the window's are too high up." Spencer said.

"We're wolves, agility is what we have so a window shouldn't be a problem for us." I said.

"What if he booby trapped his house or has a security system in place. How are we supposed to past those?" Donovan asked. Oh yeah I didn't think about that.

"Why don't we ask Britney about it?" Jack said. We all looked at him.

"Do you and Donovan switch brains from time to time. We can't ask Britney about her house because we plan on breaking in. Plus she might think we are accusing her father for murder. She might tell him." Trey says.

"He does have a point, we just have to find another way to go about it." Emily said.

"Let's talk about this later, right now let's enjoy the party then we can meet up later at my house or at the king and queen estate to figure out a plan." Nathaniel said. Everyone agreed and went their separate ways. I stayed with Nathaniel.
