Epilogue

It was New Year's eve and my family is throwing a huge party and invited everyone from Deadwood to Wolf Crestlake. After the whole Marcus fiasco the town as moved on and no one speaks about him. The police and personal guards that my grandfather sent to investigate the cabin found a body they believe belong to Marcus. Uncle Michael was jumping for joy when he heard the news. Grandpa Lionel is still in Texas because my mom's body won't be able to move until after the holiday. Uncle Michael has been visiting aunt Ella everyday since she was transferred back. We haven't been back to our house for some time now. I think it's because he misses her so much. I've visited my other grandparents and Christina was there. It seems they were happy that she's back and I'm happy for them. Me and Christina talked to get to know each other better. You know sometimes I confuse myself with all of my grandparents. Olivia, James, Maxwell, Victoria, Christopher, Aaliyah, and Lionel. I need to start having nicknames or something for all of them really.

"Oye Gabriella, are you with us." Trey asked. I looked at Trey.

"Sorry I was thinking about things." I said. We all decided to meet at Spencer's mom bakery to try her new cupcakes she made. Mocha caramel cupcakes.

"What has been on your mind?" Savanna asked.

"Everything that happened over the course of the month. I'm just glad it's finally over and done with." I said.

"Ain't that the truth. This will last me for a lifetime." Donovan said.

"You know my parents tried to ground me for not telling her what was going on. I was like mom this isn't mlife we're talking about. We were trying to save Deadwood from being ruled by a psychopath what more do you want. I'm alive isn't that enough." Jack said.

"What she say?" Trey asked.

"Nothing, she said nothing just looked at me." He said.

"So are you grounded?" Donovan said.

"No." Jack said.

"What about you Nathaniel, how do you feel about everything?" Emily asked.

"I'm just thankful all of it is done and we can focus on our lives." He said.

"How are those tests coming along." Donovan asked with a smile on his face.

"Donovan be nice." Spencer said.

"I am nice, I just asked a simple question." He said.

"I didn't start them yet. They said it won't be done until after New Year's." Nathaniel said gloomily.

"You mean they were for real." Trey said.

"Yes unfortunately. I guess they want to see if I am man enough to date Gabriella." Nathaniel said.

"Yeah she is the princess and all, also their only granddaughter and niece. She has more men in her family than women so I guess that's where it's coming from. Plus you have all these guards watching your every move." Jack said. I looked at my guards and notice they were all looking this way especially at Nathaniel.

"Is it just me or are they looking at Nathaniel only?" Donovan said quietly.

"No they are definitely looking at Nathaniel. I guess the king doesn't want Nathaniel to do anything he's not suppose to." Savannah said.

"This is going to be tough." Nathaniel said. It sure is.

It was one hour before midnight and the party was in full swing. Me and my friends decided to dance in a group. The music was loud the food was amazing. It was like a block party and everyone was dancing on the streets.
