"Mommy, wake up, I have to go to the bathroom," hears Vanessa as she wakes up from the nightmare. She has tears in her eyes, for the horrific events of the nightmare had made her very sad. Just the thought of him made her heart ache.

"Okay baby," she answers her little girl as she slowly stands up.

After she takes her to the restroom, they both come back and lay down on the bed.

"Mommy?"

"Yes, Annika?"

"When will daddy be back?" she asks. Vanessa sighs, not knowing the answer herself.

"He has work remember? But hopefully soon alright? Now you go to bed sweetie, you have school tomorrow!" says Vanessa. Annika nods before closing her hazel eyes. Vanessa slowly pats her as she thinks about the dream.

Why him? She thinks. Why do I always have these lucid dreams about him?

Vanessa sighs once more before she closes her eyes and falls asleep.

Vanessa wakes up and wakes Annika up as well. She gets Annika to get ready for school as she gets ready for work herself.

When they're both ready, they leave the house and head to the car, going to Annika's elementary school.

"Have fun sweetie!" says Vanessa to Annika as they reach school.

"I will mommy," she says. She leaves the car at the curb, Vanessa watching her go inside the building.

When Vanessa is satisfied that Annika went in the school, she leaves for work.

She works for an IT company. She always wanted to pursue acting with her twin sister Veronica, but when she went missing, she had no motivation to act without her. Thinking she passed away, Vanessa didn't feel like herself, she couldn't live without her twin sister, her better half, her everything. She still prays to God that she's alive and that one day, she'll come back to her...

Vanessa reaches work and goes inside to see her boss, Noah Wesley.

"Good morning beautiful," he says. She fake smiles at him as she heads for her cubicle.

"Good morning Vanessa," says everyone else in the room.

"Good morning everyone," she responds. She loves being a lead, because most people know and appreciate her more.

She sits on her chair and pulls out her computer from her bag, connecting it to the HDMI so she could work on the desktop screen.

"I emailed you what I want you to do," says Noah, standing at the edge of Vanessa's cubicle. She could see him smirking from the corner of her eyes. Vanessa rolls her eyes at his usual annoying douche behavior.

"I know sir," she says, still being polite to him. She knows that he's only being nice to her so he can get into her pants, she's known this since the day she started working here. A couple people from her team have told her to stay careful, especially without her boyfriend here to protect her from him.

He goes through a phase, moving from one girl to another in the office. Since the time Vanessa has been hired by the company, which is six months now, he's been annoying her, flirting with her, doing anything but being a normal boss. He should be fired for his behavior, but he never shows that to his boss, who is, unfortunately, a male.
