As I enter the familiar doors, I see nothing but darkness because of the blindfold covering my eyes. "Grayson, what is this?"

He doesn't answer, just stands there beside me with one of his hands in mine. I hear something drop and someone saying ouch, along with someone trying their hardest not to laugh.

I suddenly hear a familiar voice, a voice I've been wanting to hear since the second I left the house the day of the incident.

"Mommy?" I hear her adorable voice.

"Anni?" I ask. "Annika?"

"Mommy I can't see anything, where are you?" I hear her ask.

"I can't see anything either, baby," I say. Grayson starts to lead me somewhere and then makes me stop. I feel his hands on the back of my head, as the curtain of darkness is taken away from my eyes.

The first person I see is my daughter and her beautiful hazel eyes as Grayson takes her blindfold off as well. The human being I risked my life for, the human I love the most. "ANNIKA!"

I run towards her, engulfing her in the biggest hug I've ever given anyone. I hear her sniffle.

"Mommy, I missed you," she says as tears leave both of our eyes.

"I missed you too, baby," I say back to her. I kiss her forehead multiple times. "Happy 7th birthday, Anni."

"Thank you," she says. "I'm so grown up now!"

"I know you are, stop growing up so fast!" I say, giggling. Grayson walks closer to us, smiling as he wipes a tear from his gorgeous eyes.

"Can I join this reunion?" he asks. I laugh before nodding.

"Of course, you are apart of this family," I say. He laughs before kneeling down and taking both of us in his embrace.

"I missed you two together," he says. "Now I can hear both of my princess's heartbeats."

"Okay now it's time to party!" says Ethan. I look up at him and he looks back awkwardly. He obviously didn't know that we were still reuniting. "Whoops, sorry for interrupting the family reunion, you guys can carry on."

"Nah, it's okay E-tee-wee-tee, we're coming!" I say. We all stand up and walk behind Ethan, who's going towards the kitchen. We see Roni as she ices a cake that she probably made.

"RONIIII!" I yell, running into the kitchen, which was a mistake. My stomach aches and I stop walking as I get to the kitchen. I slowly start to kneel myself so I could sit down on the ground.

"Nessa! Are you okay?" says Roni, dropping the icing bag on the ground and kneels down beside me.

"I'm fine!" I say, clutching my stomach. "Just shouldn't have run. Other than that, I'm so happy to see all of you!"

"I'm happy to see you too," says Roni. "Should I get you water? Advil?"

"Yes please," I say. She gets up and accidentally steps on the icing bag that was on the ground, sending the icing everywhere and making her fall.

"OUCHH MOMMMMMMYYYYYYY!" she yells, calling for our mother.

I can't help but laugh at the scene in front of me as I hear Ethan laughing behind me.

"That was so hot babe, can you redo that so I can get it on film?" says Ethan as he keeps laughing. I turn a little to see Grayson walking into the kitchen.

"Why are you guys laughing, what did I miss? Why are the girls on the ground?" he asks us, his expression blank.

"Your sister-in-law over here was trying to be cool and attempted to ice skate on icing and tripped and fell and I'm on the ground because I tried running and my stomach started to ache so Roni was gonna go get medicine for me and then this happened," I say as I try to talk with my heavy breath from laughing too much.
