"Morning Y/N!" Jungkook smiled as you walked through the gym hall door first period on Thursday.
"Hey Jungkook," you walked over to greet him, who was waiting patiently for you to begin warm-ups with him.
After you finished warm-ups, the teacher showed up as usual, late.

"Jungkook? Y/N?" He called as he walked in, gesturing for you to come to speak to him.
"Morning," you spoke as you stood infront of him, "Hey Guys, I know it's still ages until the concert, but I was wondering if you guys had any ideas as to what you'd like to perform?"

Jungkook shook his head, and you did also. "I'm not sure," you admitted, and he smiled, "No, that's no problem. Have a think about what you'd like to do, and show me the choreography when you've found some."

You liked your instructor, he was a nice guy, and he didn't judge you so you felt comfortable performing infront of him.
"Mr. Jung?" Jungkook asked before he walked away, earning a raised eyebrow in curiosity from the instructor, "Yes Jungkook?"
"Does it have to be our own original choreo?"
Mr Jung frowned as he responded, "Nope, just as long as it's worthy of a winning title. I think you guys will make a great pair this year." He affirmed before walking towards another group of dancers.

Jungkook smiled sheepishly at you, and you furrowed your brows.
"Is something wrong?" You asked as he stared at you, and he shrugged. "I'm a little nervous for this. I've never performed before."

You shook your head as he stood stiffly, and patted his arm reassuringly. "You'll do great. By the time it comes up, we would have practiced so much that it'll be second nature to perform."
Of course, you've never performed yourself - but you did believe everything would be fine.

"How was your day off?" You asked as you were going over an old dance routine with Jungkook. It was a modern style, so nothing too exhausting today.

"Fine, I had to do chores the whole day though." Jungkook sighed. Jungkooks parents were lovely, but because he was the youngest brother, he was subjected to all the house work. Sometimes he couldn't hang out because of all of the work.

"How was yours?" He asked, looking into the mirror as he was correcting a move. You stood with his water bottle, watching his movements to help correct some.

"Pretty lazy. My parents were working, so Tae came over to watch movies for a while." You said without really thinking about it. You didn't see how it was a strange statement, but Jungkook was giving you a weird stare through the mirror.

"Oh, cool." He said quietly, gaze shifting back to himself. You felt a heavy silence settle between you for a moment, but you decided to change the topic.
"Hey, can you help me with one of the moves?"

You walked into the canteen to find every seat other than your own already taken. From the distance, you could see Taehyung with his hands in the air, placed together as if he was praying. You sat down, eyeing him as he was chanting something and you looked to Jimin for help.

"He's thanking god for his food," Jimin stated, staring at Taehyung with an amused smile on his face. Jin, Namjoon And Hoseok all had worried expressions on their faces, and Yoongi wasn't even looking at him, distracted by his phone.

"Amen," Taehyung finished as he grabbed his sandwich and practically shoved the whole thing into his mouth in one. "Hungry?" You laughed, but he was too invested in his food to hear.

A few seconds after he swallowed, he stared at everyone shockingly. "I'm not religious..." he stated, earning an even more questionable glance from everyone.

"Uhh," Hoseok stared dumbfoundedly, "Okay...?"

"One of you guys said I was 'praying to god', or something like that... no, I wasn't, I'm not religious... I was thanking my mom for making me a sandwich." Taehyung stated, as if what he was saying was completely normal. You were staring at him in practical fear as he took another bite of his food.

You noticed Jungkook wasn't playing along with Taehyung's antics, which was weird. What was weirder, was that he looked really down. His head was resting in his hands as he watched Taehyung mess about.
To avoid any awkward conversation, you decided you'd ask Jungkook in private, so you initiated conversation with Yoongi.

"You're not eating, Yoongi?" You asked, and he looked up from his phone with a tired expression on his face. "Nah, I'm not hungry. Why aren't you eating y/n?"
Everyone turned to look at you as the raven haired asked, and everything seemed to have turned awkward.
"N-no, I ate earlier, don't worry." You lied, trying to reassure the doubting Yoongi.
"You need to eat," he began.

Coming from him. He's getting so skinny it's alarming.

"Yeah, Yoongi-Hyung is right," Jimin stated, and the others nodded along.
You felt a nudge at your side as Taehyung was giving you a look like a puppy's.
"Have the rest of mine," He offered his plate of a half-eaten sandwich.

...It was the thought that counted.

"I-I'm Fine, thank you..." You declined, and saw his face fall into a sad frown.
"Let me buy you something," Jimin and Namjoon offered at the same time, whilst everyone else sat thinking of ways to get you to eat.

"Guys, I'm fine, I've eaten." You faked a smile, but it didn't convince them.
"Y/N." You heard a stern call from beside you, and turned to face Taehyung again. "Eat."

His expression was cold and demanding, but you didn't fall through. "Taehyung, no, you have it. I'm really okay!"

You didn't want to eat just now anyway. It was normal to skip lunches sometimes, so why was there an issue now?

"Y/N..." Taehyung moaned, head falling onto your shoulder. "How are we supposed to play if you don't have any energy?" He sighed, and you stiffened.

Playing with Taehyung was normal. You did it all the time, and it was never awkward. He'd usually pester you infront of everyone if Jungkook turned him down... so why did you feel so... uptight at the sudden mention?

There was a sudden screech of a chair being moved as someone got up from the table, and everyone glanced to see who it was.
"I need the bathroom," Jungkook stated coldly as he walked across the canteen and out the door. Everyone stared after him, and no one knew why he just left suddenly.

"What was that about?" Namjoon asked, and Yoongi shrugged.
"If you gotta go, you gotta go?" Hoseok suggested, and everyone sighed.

Taehyung didn't move his head from your shoulder, and you could feel his hair tickling your neck.
