Chapter 15

Guy took me back to Locksley where I saw familiar faces. There were many people scared of what happened to me but relieved when I returned safely. Then they found out that I was pregnant... Man, they sure thought I had a secret guy in my other home. But they were wrong. Partly.... Allan is my secret guy, but I have to cut him off; I was baring Guy's child and I have strong feelings for Guy. Nothing will come between me and my happy family. I feel bad that I have to break things off with Allan, but it's the right thing to do. If it was Allan's kid, I would have left Guy, but I know it's not.

Being kind and sweet, like a real gentleman, Guy drew a bath for me. As I waited downstairs for Guy to call me upstairs, I sat in a chair. Allan, of course, walked into the room knowing that Guy was not present. 

"You're back," he says, coming from a dark corner of the house. 

"Guy has a way with words, I guess," I replied. "But we need to talk." 

I offered a seat, but he decided to stay standing.

"Talk about what?" He questioned, knowing what was about to happen. 

But there was something about him that was different. He has changed very much over the few months I've been gone. In a way, it was very attractive, but yet, it was not. He seemed to have changed for the worst. Allan's personality seemed to turn to dark rather than light side from when he lived in the forest. In made me kinda sad. 

"Allan, I can't do this. The thing between us," I had to look away or I was going to cry. "We have to end it." 

Allan stayed in his corner. No emotion or anything showed. He just stood there, staring at me in the coldest way possible. "I understand, but why now?" 

"Because I'm pregnant," I whispered to him. 

"Is it mine?" He asked with a pinch of happiness in his voice. 

I shook my head. "It's Guy's, but if it was yours, Allan, I want you to know that I would have left Guy. Only to be with you. But it's his and honestly, I love Guy and I'll love this baby even more." 

His head dropped down to the floor. "Very well, I wish you the happiest of luck." Then he went back to the dark once he came. 

I felt kind of bad for doing that to Allan. I knew he had feelings for me and I had feelings for him, but that wouldn't work well in the end. 

"Evelyn?" Guy called down, stopping halfway on the stairs. "Ready?" He had a childish smile spread across his face and bright blue eyes that made butterflies flutter in my stomach. 

I got up and went to the stairs. "I am."

Guy took my hand in his and lead me to the bathing room where a warm bath awaited. He helped me out of my dress, and into the tub. I didn't need help, but I allowed him to do as he pleased. 

"Are you going to join?" I asked with wondering eyes. 

"Only if you want me to, otherwise I will leave you be," was his reply as he was about to leave. 

I quickly grabbed his wrist. "Please don't."

Guy watched me with passionate eyes while he slowly peeled his clothes away. Eyes still connected, Guy joined me in the tub. He got behind me, so I could lay back on his chest, his arms wrapped around me. Grabbing the rag from the side, Guy dipped it in the warm water and washed me with soft and gentle strokes. A small smile appeared on my face as I rolled my head to the side.
