there i was, sitting near my windowpane, watching snowflakes falling one by one, slowly, to the ground which is already a pile of ice, swallowing ben and jerry's ice cream, reminiscing old times.

how it all used to be so easy. when we were younger and free (cue adele's hello). when we were all naive and only thought about good things in life. when we thought the end of a friendship was the end of the world. how we were free of stress and anxiety. when we didn't have to think so much about so many things in a day.

there i was, in the icy cold december, with you at Starbucks. together, we shared a pumpkin spiced latte with soy. we talked about the future and what scares us the most.

there we were, at the ice skating rink, skating our wat through everything, dancing around, fooling around, just like its just you and me there.

icy cold december, with my family. enjoying their presence. laughters filling the room. echoes of shouting from moms. stories, gossips heard here and there. fights even.

icy cold december, what a time to be alive.
