Dacia tried not to cry as she walked away. Of course she couldn't leave the Lupu Manor, so she stayed close by. She sat under a tree and hugged her knees. She had no words to describe what she was feeling...
-"Isn't this what you always wanted? To come back to a place where you have never belonged to?"- she immediately looked up and saw her sister Penelope.
Young, just like when she was first said to have wolf blood. Dacia's eyes grew wide opened.
-"Pen!"- she cried out.
-"You're stupid. You hate me yet you're actually happy to see me. I don't know what to expect from you anymore. Well, what can I say. You've always been a weirdo."- said Penelope as she threw her hair behind her shoulders. "As I was saying, you don't belong here, Dacia. You never have...never will."
Dacia immediately stood up and confronted Penelope.
-"Of course I do! I was born and raised here, just like you!"- said Dacia angrily. "My descendants have also lived here!"
-"Did they, now? I recall Emil ran off and then that bratty granddaughter of yours was born somewhere else and I felt like it was a continuous curse upon our clan"- said Penelope.
-"Shut up!"- Dacia picked up a rock and threw it towards Penelope.
Penelope vanished and Dacia looked around nervously while panting. Gavril watched her from afar. Dacia never saw Penelope...it had all been a product of her own mind and Gavril was certain that Dacia would soon or later act like that again throughout the day. He had seen her her like that before and knew how difficult it was for both of them to deal with it.

Back at Bran Castle
-"For the hundredth time...I told you that I have no idea how to control her vampiric genes, Sorin"- said Vlad while rolling his eyes.
He was trying to read an old book back in his quarters but his son had been annoying him for the past hour about something he didn't understand either. Vlad raised his sight from his book and looked up at the desperate vampire before him.
-"If you're so desperate, find the solution yourself"- Vlad told him flatly.
He went back to his book and passed on to the next page. Sorin simply rolled his eyes and closed the book abruptly.
-"Sorin Gheata...what's with this insolence?!"- Vlad stood up.
-"It's not like you've never read that book. I've seen you read it ever since you took us in. Isn't that The Art of War?"- Sorin stated. "You've read it over and over and over again. And lately, I've seen you read it whenever you have something bothering you"
Vlad squinted his eyes. Sorin was quite observant and that took him by surprise at times. His son would act recklessly most of the time, but he still had his good points hidden somewhere.
-"Even so, I don't know what you're asking for. I don't have the slightest clue. If I didn't I wouldn't be going back and forth between the Lupu and our hideout giving in some reports"-Vlad continued.
-"What?! Why are you on their side?!"- Sorin complained.
-"No matter how observant you may be at times, you're still stupid. I give in some reports to Dacia, that's who. Isn't she the only one with a similar case? Why would I waste my time with those mentally ill wolves who still despise us vampires? They don't deserve my help. They are just trying to figure out how the changes, in that girl, work in the most unreasonable way possible"-
