CHAPTER 3

Hongbin entered the cafe and sat at the usual place without ordering as he noticed that Heeyoung already spotted him and smiled. She brought his usual drink and food while he captured a few pictures with his camera.

"massi-gge deuseyo (enjoy the food)" She bowed and turned to get back to work but he softly held her arm made her looked at him and blushed. Eunwoo who just finished making order squinted his eyes and watched them from the counter.

"what are they talking about, aish Jang Heeyoung lost at it again." He mumbled to himself and shook his head.

"There's no customers here, sit and have a talk with me for a while, hmm?" Hongbin asked softly and she was slightly hesitated. Yes thats true that its still morning so the customers are not coming yet and she turned to see Eunwoo widened his eyes and asked her to get back to work.

She chuckled and mouthed 5 minutes to him before she took a sit in front of Hongbin which left Eunwoo speechless. "umm so do you have anything to say,sunbae?" Hongbin fixed his position to putting his elbow on the table to get a bit closer.

"I was looking for you for the last two weeks but you're not here. I thought you have quit working." He smiled and glad to see her again. "Is something happened?" Heeyoung cleared her throat and let out a  sigh.

"My grandpa had passed away so I took an emergency leave. We had a funeral and some family discussion and I also need some time to gain courage again before continue my daily life.." She faked a smile and to be honest talking about her grandpa made her felt narrowed in the inside again.

Hongbin gave a concern face before he slowly stood up and walked towards her which she stood as well before giving her a warm hug. Shook with the action, she just froze there but soon felt calm when the hug was warm and soft because he also rubbed her back a few times. While Eunwoo who was watching from the start widened his eyes and made a confused face.

"ehey i-namja-ga jinjja..(this man is really sonething..)"

"I'm so sorry I didn't know that you were struggling..oh." He released the hug and rubbed the back of his neck, embarrassed with his action. She smiled and shook her head.

"Its okay sunbae, I also didn't know that you want to meet me, at least I can inform you about my situation. Thank you for being understanding." They met each other's eyes for a few seconds before she looked down, blushed hard.

"Ahh, its my fault tho, we are not close enough and to suddenly ask you and know where you are seems awkward and weird.." She looked at him in confused. "Umm I was thinking to get to know you more, not just as senior and junior, we are not even went to the same school anymore, we are already far from school life haha."

"You..you want to know me..more?" She suddenly can't speak properly since she was too excited and he nodded with a smile on his face. "well..if you said so, I'm gladly to know you too sunbae."

"Great! Can I lend your phone then?" He asked for her phone which she confusedly gave to him. He dialed his own number and made a miscall before he gave it back to her. "So I have your number and you have mine. You're not working everyday right?" She nodded in clueless. "Well you're also currently studying right?" She nodded again. "Then I will try to make some time to pick you up from the college."

Heeyoung widened her eyes and blinked for a few times before Hongbin softly stroked her hair. She was trying to think if she's currently dreaming or not but then someone shouted her name proving that she's not dreaming.

"Jang Hee Youngggg" Eunwoo purposely shouted her name from the back. "Help me with this stockkkk"

She squinted her eyes and knew that he just wanted to mess things up. Hongbin chuckled and took a sit back at his place. "Go back to work, I'll leave in a couple of minutes. I think your friend needs an immediate help from you" He winked at her before she turned away shyly and ran towards Eunwoo.

She slapped Eunwoo's shoulder from the back when he was pretending to arrange the new cafe stocks. She joined him and saw that he made a disgusted face before she asked.

"WAE. Just say that you're jealous that no one treats you like sunbae did to me." She glared at him before he ruffled and messing around with her hair. How can she be so blind just because a man treated her nicely. Like she never had one while in fact Eunwoo has been with her since they were kids.

"Yah, thats what a man should do to a woman. Why do I have to get jealous? Na-neun gei saenggak-hae? Micheo-sseo? (you think I'm gay? Are you crazy?)" Heeyoung laughed and nodded, accepting his explanation. He then imitated Hongbin's word earlier while making an expression "Then I will try to make some time to pick you up from the college. Keu-ge mwoya nee nam-chin-i-ya? Neo, yae-rang durri katchi andwae eo? (Whats that? Is he your bf or smtg? You guys cant go anywhere just in two got that?)"

Heeyoung shook her head and pinched his cheek "Stop nagging and talking like ahjumma with this handsome face, you're embarrassing me. Who said I can't be with him alone? You said that because you don't have anyone else to hang out with if I go out with sunbae right?"

Eunwoo laughed in disbelieved and pointed at himself "Me? Don't have anyone else? Hello miss?? I just decided to be with you because you can't take care of yourself. I'm going to follow you wherever you go don't why me hmmph!" He pretended to get angry and bumped her shoulder purposely before he went out.

She bit her lips in anger when he left her with the stock alone and yelled at him "YAH This Is Your Work! Get Back Here You Jerk!"

"Thank you for sending me ho-" Heeyoung thanked Hongbin as he decided to wait in front of her college that day but her words got cut off.

"Thank you for sending US home bro" Eunwoo who was sitting at the back leaned to the front to avoid Heeyoung making an eye contact with Hongbin. He knew that Hongbin wanted to use an excuse of sending her home to get close to her. But he will never let his best friend get into the trap that fast.

Hongbin chuckled and nodded. He looked at Heeyoung who was pushing Eunwoo to the back and asked him to wait outside which he hesitantly followed. "I'm sorry sunbae but he never acted like this before, being clingy and stuff"

"Haha its okay, he's your best friend and you are his's, so I don't wish to make you guys separate. Oh if you guys okay, I can pick and send you guys to the college?" He offered but she laughed while waving her hands.

"Hahah no its okay, Eunwoo can drive but he's too lazy but we also preferred to take a subway, oh, well I have another thing to tell you. I will go to Sweden next week to follow my father's business trip. So we can't meet again then." She showed a disappointment face while he nodded.

"Okay please take care and you can inform me anything if you want to." Hongbin ruffled her hair as it has became an habit but then noticed that Eunwoo squinted his eyes from the outside. He laughed and pointed his mouth to Eunwoo which she turned to the direction as well. "Your loyal friend is angry, go tell him that we didn't do anything in here hahah"

Heeyoung waved as Hongbin drove away before she got pulled by Eunwoo. "yah yah why are you acting like a kid?" They walked together as Hongbin just sent them at the main road before they arrived in front of her house. He opened the gate for her and pushed her in which left her dumbfounded.

"You said you're going to Sweden, go take a rest and don't forget to pack everything you need. Next time don't take his offer, I'm going to drive to college after you come back from Sweden." He pretended to be sulky before he got ruffled by her.

"I don't know you're such a baby." She smiled widely to him showing her white teeth.

"I want to make sure that he doesn't do anything bad to you that's all!" He defended himself.
