CHAPTER 24

"Jang Heeyoung?" Dawon called her while she was sitting at the bed and did nothing. Heeyoung smiled and turned her head towards the door.

"Yes? Eommeonim?" Dawon walked towards her and stroked her hair softly.

"Lee Hongbin is coming home this evening so I'm going to cook something, so I might be busy. If you want anything, just call our maid..uh just call him H. He will help you okay?" Heeyoung nodded but she held Dawon's arm.

"Can you take me to sunbae's room? If you didn't mind.. because I never know how it looks like, but at least if I can feel the furniture and stuff.." Dawon smiled before she held her to stand up.

"Okay sure." They walked to Hongbin's room and she sat at his work table. "Nothing's in this room, he used to work at  his other room and this is just a place for him to rest and sleep. There's a few books and things on the table, be careful not to hurt yourself okay? I head down first."

Heeyoung smelled the scent in the room and she started to touch and recognize things using her hands. "ouh, there's a lot of books here.. and papers.. that's it? Eo?" She pouted when she didn't find anything but then she touched a hard small square shape then she put it back. She landed at the chair and held her phone. "What if.. I tried to open this phone back? I mean I never tried if its really broken or not.. but first." She flipped the phone and tried to open the back case to check for the battery. "huh? There's no battery? Is it missing when the accident happened? Hmm.."

She put the phone on the table and accidentally hit the hard small square stuff and it fell. She tried to touch the floor and find it but someone helped her to sit back and gave her the thing or to be exact the phone battery. "You okay? You want me to put it back in your phone?" She frowned and tried to recognize the voice, it's not H's voice.

"H? You always have a different voice, you sure do have a talent in voice over" She smiled and showed the battery to him, Hakyeon to be exact. "What is this actually? What do you mean by you want to help put it back?" She's still had no idea that it was her battery.

Hakyeon cleared his throat and took the battery before inserted it into her phone and helped her to turn on the phone. "Its your battery phone right? I thought you accidentally fell it when you opened the case." She raised her eyebrows in confusion but then she just faked a laugh.

"ohh yeah.." She held the phone and felt it was moving and buzzing, signing that it's not broken. She wondered why Hongbin told her that the phone had broken but the battery was in his room. Something is wrong. "uhm..H, can you see if there's anything in this phone.. I mean if there are any messages or incoming calls.." She handed the phone back to Hakyeon.

"Okay.." He waited for a while until everything's done loading and he checked the messages first. He widened his eyes. "Cha Eunwoo.." Heeyoung turned towards him in anticipation.

"What did he say? Oh my.. I miss him.. He must be worried about me a lot, but I don't think its good to tell him about my condition.." She held her tears and sobbed. Hakyeon stared at her and then at the phone.

"You..know him?"

Heeyoung smiled "Of course! He's my best friend since kids. He's always there with me but he had to go to Russia to work under his father. And when I involved in the accident, he's still there.. I wonder if he felt betrayed that I didn't call him at least tell him that I'm fine.. I mean since in 2015, his cousin suddenly went missing and he was so frustrated that he can't find him."

"His..cousin?"

"Yes his cousin is a friend of Hongbin sunbae, Cha Hakyeon. They are called VIXX during high school and there's 6 of them. But suddenly everyone went missing except for sunbae. Hakyeon now realized that she's connected to his family members and now knew about his only cousin, Eunwoo.

"He said, Congratsss silly! I will call you back soon. What do you want me to treat you?" Hakyeon noticed that she felt like crying and slowly rubbed her shoulder. "Do you.. want me to reply?"

Heeyoung shook her head. "No.. I think its good if he's never knew about me, I mean with this condition and stuff.. I don't want to trouble anyone else. Anyway thank you so much for helping me.. can you.. help me to go to my room?" She stood and he assisted her to her room.

"Thank you Jang Heeyoung.." Hakyeon stared at her who looked very confused.

"For...what? I should thank you for helping m-" Hakyeon suddenly hugged her and she was shocked. But she smiled and rubbed his back which then made him widened his eyes. "It seems like we're going to be good friends in this house." They released the hug and she smiled. After he left the room, she held the phone tightly. "Why..did he hid the battery?" She then flipped the phone again and opened the back case and hid the battery inside her bag.

Eunwoo was so exhausted and hoped that next month would quickly come. He's stressed thinking about Jang Heeyoung and he can't even know her condition if it's really true that they were involved in an accident, and her parents had passed away. He sighed before he grabbed his phone and checked his chat with Heeyoung.

"If only you se-" He widened his eyes and rubbed it before he stared at his phone screen back.

You: Congratsss silly! I will call you back soon. What do you want me to treat you? (2.00p.m)

Heeyoung last seen today.

"TODAY?!" He shouted before his mom knocked his head softly when she walked behind him. She told him to lower his voice as his father was asleep. He then smiled awkwardly before he went towards his room, locked it.

"Holy shit..is this real.. then..it means she's not blind? Or.. she got a chance to check her phone? But its impossible that she knows which one to press if she's blind." He then dialed her number and called her.

No Connection.

"Dont do this to me Heeyoung-ah.. I'm deadly worried about you" He shut his eyes and prayed.

"I'm home" Hongbin smiled at everyone who was waiting at the dining table and his mom asked him to take a sit and have a dinner. He noticed that Heeyoung was not there so he just walked away "I'm going to bring Heeyoung here. Just eat first"

He opened the door and stared at her sleeping face. She suddenly moved and tried to sit. "Wh..who?"

"Its me..I'm home" She smiled and they hugged. "My mom has just done cooking, why don't you join them?" She fixed her hair and sat facing him. Suddenly the thing about her phone came across her mind but she just shook it off.

"I thought you come home late, so I'm going to accompany you to eat when everyone's asleep. It sounds sweet isn't it?" She smiled and felt cringed at her own words. His smile faded away when he held her hands tightly.

"It will be more sweet when we can see each other and stare like there's no tomorrow.."

"You know I can't see any-"

"That's why I found a way to help you see again.. Do you want it? I found a treatment and a lot of people had done that.. I just.. want you to be more happy than this.. It would be perfect if you can see again.." Heeyoung bit her lips and thought about it.

"What.. kind of treatment?"
