CHAPTER 25

"I..m not sure.. I mean it sounds terrifying." Heeyoung let her hands off from his grip and looked away. "It's true that even something bad happened, I would still be blind, but I'm just not sure how it works for blind people to see again.."

Hongbin took a sit beside her and caressed her face. "I know you're scared but, I'll never do something that will bring harm. I love you and I want the best for you. One of the wishes I have is to make you able to see again. As long as you agree, we can immediately start the treatment."

She let a sigh and faked a smile "Thank you so much for caring about me, and make sure everything is the best for me.. I think I need time to decide this.. I hope you can give me some space." He nodded.

"Sure.. just tell me anytime you want.. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm pressuring you. But I know how hard you want to live your life since you're still young..and you have a dream to achieve, I know you must want to touch the drawing computer again and start a career as a comic artist" He carefully caressed her hands and kissed it.

"No.. I know you did your best..And of course I want to be the best for you too. Let me think about it first okay? I am..truly touched with everything that you have done for me." She touched his lips and kissed him for a few seconds. "I love you too."

That night Heeyoung cannot fall asleep and kept turning her bodies from side to side. Hongbin's words lingered in her minds that she kept thinking about it. She ended up sitting at the bed and held her phone. She tried to put the battery that she hid in her bag and turned it on, just for no reason. She can felt a buzz from the phone and held it closer to her.

"Is someone calling me or sending me anything?" She asked herself and felt a bit frustrated that she can't identify what the notification about. She then put it aside and sighed. "If only I can tell Eunwoo everything, if only he knew everything about me, if only.." She touched her eyes "..this eyes can see everything again..it would be nice." She turned the phone off and tried to sleep after making her decision.

"Will this be the best?"

For the time being until Heeyoung made her decision, Hongbin locked up in his room and did a lot of research and made a lot of things to prepare for her process to be a cyborg. He would still make her as one even though she resisted because he knew that's the best for her, and for her future. At least he can be happy to see her lives much better than now. Sometimes he did think about what he did to people that he turned into cyborgs, whether its really a good choice to do that.

"What's the point..they've already became one. All I need to do is to make sure that they're fine and live normally. Including Heeyoung soon.." He stopped his works and went outside to take a break. He noticed Hakyeon and Taekwoon were sitting at the balcony, talking about something.

"They sure live normal like human beings now" Hongbin smiled a bit before he proceed to the kitchen.

"I've heard that he wanted to turn her into one of us.." Taekwoon stared at the outside before he turned to face Hakyeon.

"Hongbin?" Hakyeon turned and saw Hongbin walked towards the kitchen before he faced Taekwon. "He wanted to turn her into..a cyborg as well..?"

"I think because he wants to make her able to see again and I guess he didn't worry about her seeing us after that, probably he will make any excuse for that but I'm sure its because.. Cha Eunwoo is coming back." Hakyeon widened his eyes when he heard the name. "He didn't know what happened right? Since Hongbin hid everything from him, but of course Hongbin didn't want him to know that she's actually blind. By doing all this, he's taking a big risk but he's sure everything's going to be just fine.."

"So...Cha Eunwoo, will be coming here to find her?"

"And you will also get to see him back, your only family member that you know."

Eunwoo had just done with his meetings and he got a few more before he get to return to Korea. He immediately met Yejin and asked about his schedules.

"How many days more do I have to finish all these works?" Yejin looked at him and checked his schedules. She then frowned a bit before replying him.

"Around three days. But.. I just had a call with your father. He said there's another thing he wanted you to settle but I'll try my best to avoid that, I mean I can ask anyone else like there's a lot of capable people in this company anyway." She forced a smile when he started to sigh. She knew that he was having a hard time to try settling everything here so that he can go back to Korean and check on Heeyoung, or to be exact to find out what had actually happened there.

"Thank you for helping me, I was so stress lately, since I knew about her condition, I can't just keep living like everything's fine especially when I gave my responsibility to a person that I thought I can relied on."

"Its okay, I'll try my best to keep thing smooth. I mean you're also helping me, to find out about my boyfriend and what is actually happened to all of them. I might as well follow you if my leave got approved by your father."

"Oh that sounds good, at least we can do this together. I'm quite shocked when I saw my last chat with her. It showed that she had last seen a few days ago and I thought if she's really fine and we're just worrying for nothing but, when I called her there's no connection, it's messing up my mind."

"Okay that sounds weird, but for now just focus on your works first and rest. Just find me for anything" He nodded and left the office.

Heeyoung woke up early as usual and waited for Dawon to pick her up. She heard a knock on the door and told the person to come in. "Have you done? Come let's take a breakfast" Heeyoung stood up and while walking she asked.

"Eommeonim, where's Hongbin? I think I need to talk to him." She took a sit at the dining table and waited for Dawon's response.

"I'm here. What do you want to talk about?" He came from his room and held her shoulder and rubbed it softly. She was quite nervous when she finally heard his voice because it had been a few days since their last talk about her eyes treatment since he just locked himself in the room after that.

She held his hands and smiled. He then knelt in front of her and waited for her to speak. "I think..I'm going to do that.." She stopped her words and bit her lips, somehow she felt nervous and scared just by talking about it.

He blinked for a few times and caressed her face. "Are you..sure?" He smiled a bit but he's still concerned if she's fine with it. Heeyoung nodded and took a deep breath.

He brought her to the lab where he did all the works, including anything about the cyborgs that he created and lied her down at a bed. She felt so nervous and almost cried but he sat by her side and waited until she's fully ready. While waiting, he did all the programming in the computer and checked all the machines and equipment to make sure its all set to go.

She signed him to continue the process so he connected the tube and wires to her bodies and before he closed the bed with a big half cylinder container onto her, he kissed her forehead and asked her to think about something nice. She believed that its like a hospital treatment and she was at the surgery room, but its actually not. He tried his best not to make her get shock with the process so that's why he had to say its safe.

"I want to see the world again. And to see the person who's always by my side when I'm not able to do anything. I want to appreciate everything that I didn't have chance to do at the past..I hope this can make me happier again.." She let her single tear fell and let the sleeping medicine did the work. He watched her for a few seconds before he stood in front of the computers to start the process.

"You will Jang Heeyoung." He pressed the start button.
