CHAPTER 10

After a few years, the college final exam had come. Both Heeyoung and Eunwoo were struggling hard and Hongbin had already worked under Heeyoung's father's company for the last two years secretly. He was not sure until when he had to keep this because he had become closer with Heeyoung and Eunwoo but he knew he needed to prepare himself and watched the situation if Eunwoo can accept what he had been doing.

They were now chilling at the cafe as the owner gladly gave them exception to go to work as they will sit for the exam next week. They had studied for weeks without rest so Hongbin offered to drive them around and relax their minds.

Firstly, they went to a mall and Heeyoung shopped a new clothes for herself while matching some clothes with both of the guys. Eunwoo also picked a few t-shirts and went to the collection shop to buy any latest thing that he hasn't bought.

After that they went to a shoes outlet and each bought a pair of shoes. They also watched the latest horror movie where Eunwoo kept shouting and grabbed Hongbin's clothes that was close to rip apart. He hated horror things so much that he even preferred not to celebrate Halloween if anyone is wearing scary costumes. They had to wear colorful and bright costumes during Halloween so that he can at least join together that day.

"That movie was terrible . I hurt my throat." Eunwoo held his neck and shut his eyes while Heeyoung laughed. She also screamed but she can predicted when were the jump scares will come so she was not as scared as him.

"I love the plot twist, and how sad the ending earlier." She took a sip of her honeydew smoothie while still chuckling at Eunwoo's expression.

"Was the ending sad? I cant remember anything"

"Its because you close your eyes like most of the times. I don't even know if you're watching or sleeping. The ending was sad, they had to kill the girl because the spirit wont leave the body and end up the girl was actually their daughter who they thought had died when she was a child." She explained the ending and Eunwoo nodded like a child.

"So you guys enjoyed today? I hope it can relax your mind before the exam next week." Hongbin took a bite of blueberry cupcake as they nodded happily.

"It is realllly relaxing that I forgot everything that I studied because I screamed too much" Eunwoo said sarcastically while rolling his eyes. "Ah I need to go to the toilet." He ran quickly left both Hongbin and Heeyoung who was watching the TV provided inside the cafe.

To the next news, our government has achieved an agreement to investigate and choose the best students who are going to pursue their studies in Science and Technology due to the making of half human- half robot, cyborg issue that worries the country a few years ago. Even though an extreme action has been taken to track down the illegal making, yet there's still a lot of system yet to be tracked down, believed to be a strong protection system connected to the illegal cyborg making. However our government yet to give up and still improving to overcome the problem.

"Wah, these people are no joke.. making cyborgs.." Heeyoung let her mouth opened and Hongbin pretended not to know anything.

"Who, people are you talking about?" He looked at her before she turned to face him and took a bit of the dessert that they ordered earlier.

"Those.." She chewed it well first before continued "people who are making cyborgs. They even have strong protection system, and good in making illegal things."

"You..hate those kind of people?" Hongbin was looking at her with a feel of guilty. "Will you hate me if I tell you the truth..?"

"I'm not in a position to judge them, but our country has against it, why are they still making it? I think I heard somewhere that cyborgs also risk the life of human, and to be considered that it is because of other human who is risking that..was just too cruel don't you think so? I mean what could be the reason of them that they desperately need to turn humans into cyborgs?"

"They might have fear of losing someone.."

Heeyoung slowly faced him "What makes you think so?"

"I think because cyborgs are robots, they are basically won't die unless the person who creates it malfunctioned the system inside it or anything. So they probably want the cyborgs or the humans that they love to be immortal so that they won't have fear of losing them.."

She looked at him impressively and slowly nodded. "As expected from a Science Tech student." Hongbin chuckled. "But..if the person only make other people as cyborgs and ended up he or she is the only one left and is not immortal, they will die and what will happened to the cyborgs? What if they were settings to be normal human and rule the world without any human's observation? Wow, I guess that's why cyborgs are illegal.." Heeyoung closed her mouth with her palm, impressed with herself that she can think the possible reason behind it.

Hongbin stared at his glass and let out a sigh. "What if I die because I'm not a cyborg like what I have turned my loves one..All this time I only thought about scared of losing them.. but what if I left them one day?"

"Sunbae, did you left Science and Technology because of this? Because the government against a lot of things about this field? And you change into taking pictures and making arts.."

"Ahh..." He was a bit speechless at the sudden question. "Yeah I guess so.." He scratched his head and licked his lips as he was feeling nervous.

"Guess what?" Eunwoo asked as he heard only the guess part when he was walking towards them. Heeyoung still looked at Hongbin when his phone suddenly showed a notification.

"Eo, I think I have to send you guys home, I need to settle a few things." He thanked the notification that he got to escape the question just right when Eunwoo was with them. They nodded and finished their drinks and dessert before heading home.

"FINALLYYYYY" Both Heeyoung and Eunwoo ran towards the college gate while holding hands and screamed as loud as they can. A lot of other students made the same thing as they finally ended their final exams and now they just have to wait for the result in a few months.

"No more studying," Heeyoung pointed at Eunwoo.

"No more heavy bags," He pointed back at her.

"No more waking up so earlyyyyy." He laughed and ruffled her hairs before she did the same.

"Yah, lets enjoy today. Everything's on me" Eunwoo proudly raised his eyebrows and she showed a double thumbs up"

"yeokshi uri cha hanwoo (as expected from my handsome Tea Meat" She ran when he widened his eyes and chased her down.

"Yah its CHA EUNWOO, YOU STILL USING THAT NAME ON YOUR CONTACT CHANGE IT JANG HEEYOUNG"

They went to the their usual places when they were kids. They played at the playground they usually go after the school ended. Heeyoung reminded him about when he was crying hard because someone stole his swing that he supposedly saved for Heeyoung. At the end Heeyoung had to give him ice-cream because he was crying out aloud until he had runny nose. He was reminded how cry baby he was when its about Heeyoung.

"That's because I want to protect you so bad silly" He defended himself as they were eating the ice-cream that they always had. She smiled and landed her head at his shoulder.

"Promise me you will always and always protect me even when we are far from each other" She put her hands that has a best friend ring beside his hands that also had the same ring.

They went home and Eunwoo happily walked into his house and before he went upstairs his dad called him from the living room made him turned towards his fierce father. "Cha Eunwoo, we need to talk." Eunwoo looked down and let a soft sigh before he clenched his fist.
